Standard Self-Catering Apartments

Many of our students choose to stay in Standard Self-Catering Apartment. Each apartment has a kitchen, bathroom, living room and 3 or 4 bedrooms. Most apartments also have balconies. Typically, 4 to 6 people live in each apartment, normally a mixture of international students and Spaniards. A shared student apartment is an excellent choice, if you wish to cook for yourself and enjoy the experience of sharing an apartment. Shared apartment accommodation gives you complete independence and is also a great way to meet people and make friends.

However, if it is important to you to be sure that your apartment will be really close to our school, in the centre of Barcelona, then you should choose to stay in one of our On-site Superior Apartments.These apartments are located above our school, in the same building as our school. They have flat-screen TVs, two bathrooms in each apartment, and rooms are available with private bathrooms. The On-site Superior Apartments offer a higher level of comfort than our Standard Self-Catering Apartments and have FREE Wi-Fi Internet access in all rooms. There are also large roof top sun terraces on top of the building, for students to use in their leisure time, for sunbathing, socializing and making friends.

Though our Standard Self-Catering Apartments do not offer as high a standard of comfort as our On-Site Superior Apartments, they do offer a good standard of accommodation. They all have a fully-equipped kitchen, including washing machine, bathroom and living room, with TV. They are a very popular choice with our students.

You can choose to stay in a single room, or in a twin (two beds) room.

Our standard self-catering apartments in Barcelona are all located either within walking distance of the school, or else at a maximum of 20 minutes by public transport

Location:	All our shared student apartments are located a maximum of 20 minutes from our school by public transport. A few apartments are within walking distance of our school.
Room type:	Single rooms and twin (shared) rooms are available
Meals:	Meals are not included. Students in shared apartments cook for themselves.
Arrival/departure:	Students normally move into their apartment on the Sunday before their course starts, departing on the Saturday after the course finishes. However, you can sometimes arrive a day earlier, or leave a day later. You will naturally be charged for any ex
Keys:	Every student is given a set of keys, on their arrival.
Deposit:	A ‘breakages’ deposit of 150 euros is required, payable to the school, after your arrival. This deposit is returned to you at the end of your stay, provided that no breakages have occurred.
Notes:	(i) If friends, a married couple or boyfriend/girlfriend wish to share a room in an apartment, this is normally possible. (ii) Bed linen is provided, but not towels.

Students in shared apartment

If you would like to share your room, but are not travelling with a friend, you can book a twin room in a standard self-catering apartment and we will place another international student from our school in the room with you. This student will naturally be of the same gender as you and we will try to ensure that they are of a similar age.

If you wish to arrange any extra nights, or would like to share your room with a friend, relative or girlfriend/boyfriend who will not be attending a course at our school, please let us know.

We regularly check with our students to see if they are happy in their accommodation. If a student is not happy for any reason, we will do whatever is possible to resolve the problem.
