La tradición de comer calçots es algo exclusivo de Cataluña, además, sólo los puedes encontrar en esta época del año, la temporada comenzó hace poco, así que aprovechad y venid este jueves a probar este exquisito bocado.

Los calçots son un tipo de cebolla, pero más pequeña y dulce. Se preparan directamente al fuego, quedando quemada la parte externa. Lo divertido empieza a la hora de comerlos! Os advierto, es fácil mancharse, así que no es mala idea ponerse un babero.

Después hay que quitar la parte quemada y untar el calçot en la salsa romesco (el secreto de este plato) a continuación coge el calçot por la punta y… a comer!
You have to take the burnt outside and dip the calçots in the tasty ‘romesco’ sauce (the best of this plate), then take the calçot by its end.. and eat!
De todas formas, la mejor manera de descubrir el arte de los calçots es probándolo, así que el jueves es tu mejor oportunidad. ¡No dejes pasar esta ocasión para sentirte como un barceloní más!
