Supongo que recordaréis el artículo del 20 de marzo de Kate sobre los mercados de Barcelona. Comprar buena comida es muy importante, pero creo que también nos interesa a todos dónde poder comprar la mejor ropa, zapatos, accesorios… ¡y todas esas cosas que nos gustan tanto!
I suppose you still remember Kate’s article from 20th March on Barcelona markets. Buying good food is very important indeed, but I also think that we are all interested in where to buy the best clothes, shoes, accessories… and all those things that we all love!
Si lleváis unos días ya en Barcelona, sabréis que la escuela está situada en la zona de compras más concurrida de la ciudad, que son Paseo de Gracia y Las Ramblas. Paseo de Gracia está llena de tiendas de marcas importantes, y por ello, no demasiado asequibles, pero son perfectas para ‘darse un capricho’ muy de vez en cuando. En esta zona encontraréis por ejemplo tiendas como Diesel, Louis Vuitton o Cartier.
If you have already been in Barcelona for a couple of days, you will know that the school is located in the heart of the most popular shopping area in the city, which is Las Ramblas and Paseo de Gracia. Paseo de Gracia is full of designer shops, not very affordable, but perfect for when we feel like giving ourselves a treat! Here you will find shops like Diesel, Louis Vuitton or Cartier.

Si no sabes muy bien qué hacer en el largo fín de semana de Semana Santa, te puedo recomendar diferentes lugares en España para visitar y ver diferentes formas de interpretar la pasión de Cristo. / If you do not know very well what to do this long Easter weekend, I can recommend you different places in Spain to visit and observe the different ways we have to interpretate the Passion of Christ.

Everybody thinks that we, the Spanish people, drink lots of wine, at lunch time, with the dinner, eating tapas and so on… the reality is that we do drink wine, yes, but not so much, I would say that beer is the most common drink, specially if you are out. However we do produce wonderful wine, red (tinto), white (blanco), pink (rosado)… and many times students ask me which wine they can buy as a present for their parents or for themselves.
Yesterday I discovered something very exciting - there are plans to turn the bull ring outside my house into a massive flea market!!! Great news all round! I can’t say I’ll be sorry to see the bull-ring go and I’ll have
