A day in Barcelona
Wednesday, February 27th, 2008Hi everyone!
Today was a beautiful day! The weather was pretty nice! On a day like this there are a lot of things to do in Barcelona!
This morning I went to class. We have learned a lot today, like we always do! The class is pretty intensive, but time flies when you are having fun. Before I realised, the classes were finished!
After class I went to the centre of Barcelona, because I had a lot of free time to spent. This is what I like very much about this school: I learn a lot and I have also a lot of free time to spent to do things that I want to do. So, I decided to go to the centre of Barcelona. It is very close to the school! I took a walk through the centre and I enjoyed the sun. The centre looks very diferent on a sunny day. People are smiling and it seems like everyone is happy! I also walked to the sea. It takes only 15 minutes to walk from the school. I enjoyed the sea and the sun. Like I did last Saturday, I went to the beach with two friends of mine. Though, it is too cold to swim, I think. Some people did not think the same, because a few people were swimming! (more…)

The Barcelona Bus Touristic is one of the easiest ways to get to know Barcelona. The bus touristic enables you to know Barcelona by a two floor bus (a roofless double-decker, your first opportunity to get a tan!), with three different routes. With a single ticket you can get on or off the bus as many times as you want. You’ll only need one ticket for all routes. Some of the stops are common to other routes which makes it quite easy to change.

Saturdays like these?
As well as ‘Montjuic’, you have to explore this hill! If you’ve been in Barcelona you are likely to know it, even if you haven’t been there! Let me explain myself, do you remember that church on the top of a hill, with orange illumination at night? You can see it from almost any point of the city and it has become one of the ‘icons’ of Barcelona, that’s on Tibidabo hill!
