Hey everybody!

How are you all?? Waiting for the weekend to begin??

Most of you might have seen me working in the school before, but as this is my first blog I write, I’d first like to introduce myself to you: I’m Isabell from Germany and I’m doing an Internship here at Camino for almost four months now. I was living in Spain a few years ago and I always wanted to come back!! So now I’m here, enjoying this unique experience at Camino :D  …..this is a great opportunity for me and I really love working here!!

Today finally I’ve got time to write my first blog. Thinking about the subject of my blog there suddenly came a theme to my mind, which is pretty relevant for all of you guys coming to Barcelona for a period of time: “Where should I stay here in Barcelona?”. Well, due to my own experience I can tell you that it’s not as easy as it seems to find a room in Barcelona. Although there are a lot of people offering rooms here, actually it’s quite difficult to find one reasonable in price, clean, well located and with nice roommates!! (more…)

Hi everyone!

We have interesting news to tell you about. On Monday 22nd December two new things will happen in Camino Barcelona! The CHRISTMAS COURSE starts on this date with a duration of 2 weeks (so many students are enrolled in this programme :D, we are going to have so much Christmas fun!) AND…. Camino Barcelona IS MOVING to new premises, in an on-site Residence!!! Yeah, that is right! The school and the accommodation in the same place!!!

The new site is centrally located, just 10 minutes walking distance from PLaza Cataluña! This makes Camino Barcelona the only school in Barcelona offering on-site accommodation, right in the heart of Barcelona! Everyone who will be staying in Superior Residence, you will just have to take a shower in the morning and go down the stairs to your classes

A big welcome to all our new students! Join us for drinks and snacks – the perfect opportunity to get to know everyone here at school!

Tuesday, 18:30 - Wine tasting

The wine connoisseur and sommelier Javier Gonzalez will introduce us to the Spanish wine culture and we will learn how to taste different types of Spanish wines. After this workshop you will surely impress your friends and families!

Wednesday, 14:45 - Contemporenaeus art Festival of Barcelona

“¡Mira, mira!” grita la señora Helen,

Toda la gente habla de la crisis,
por esto la navidad recibe un matiz.
Los padres corren por los regalos,
en un día, las tiendas estarán saturadas.

Hi folks!

The winter and the Christmas spirit is officially here . All the streets of Barcelona are adorned with decorations and lights. Last Sunday we adorned our Christmas tree in my apartament and I always like to do that. Take the chance to enjoy this longweekend, skiing in the mountains, go in Christmas shopping, going to party etc.

Monday - School closed!

This Monday the school is closed due to national holidays. If you want to do something special or if you want us to recommend you things to do, please ask in reception. 

Tuesday, 19:00 - Linguistic exchange

The linguistc exchange comes once again as our students had a lot of fun the last time! We will go to the bar “La Cigale” in Gracia neighbourhood for a language exchange, perfect to meet Spaniards and practice your Spanish. (more…)
