A day in Barcelona
Hi everyone!
Today was a beautiful day! The weather was pretty nice! On a day like this there are a lot of things to do in Barcelona!
This morning I went to class. We have learned a lot today, like we always do! The class is pretty intensive, but time flies when you are having fun. Before I realised, the classes were finished!
After class I went to the centre of Barcelona, because I had a lot of free time to spent. This is what I like very much about this school: I learn a lot and I have also a lot of free time to spent to do things that I want to do. So, I decided to go to the centre of Barcelona. It is very close to the school! I took a walk through the centre and I enjoyed the sun. The centre looks very diferent on a sunny day. People are smiling and it seems like everyone is happy! I also walked to the sea. It takes only 15 minutes to walk from the school. I enjoyed the sea and the sun. Like I did last Saturday, I went to the beach with two friends of mine. Though, it is too cold to swim, I think. Some people did not think the same, because a few people were swimming!
Today a friend of mine celebrates her birthday!! We first go to the Xampañeria and after that we want to go to Carpe Diem. This is a restaurant/lounge bar. Many Dutch people know this bar, because the man who owns it was a famous dutch footbal player, Patrick Kluivert. He played footbal at FC Barcelona. This is a great bar. There are a lot of lounges separated from each other, so you have a little privacy with some friends. And it is not as exhausting as dancing can be. It is something you can do in the evening.
But I do not want to go home very late because I have class at 9. I think this is a good time for classes to start. It is not too early. For me it is not a problem to get up early, because I always love to go to class!
I hope you also enjoyed your classes and see you next time!!

Hi Valerie! I wish your friend a happy birthday. The restaurant/lounge bar seems like it would be a lot of fun…as well as swimming in the ocean in February! Hope you’re having fun in BCN
