The weekend went fast and it’s Monday again 
. Time to present our school activities for this week.
Monday, 9:00 - Welcome breakfast
A big welcome to all our new students! Come and join your classmates in the garden and have some breakfast with us before you’ll have your first class here at Camino!
Tuesday, 18:30 - Workshop day
On our workshop day you can choose to participate in one of three activities:
1. Workshop: Spanish idioms and sayings / 2. Workshop: Ortography
In these two activities you can practise your Spanish… and that’s why you’re here, right? Go and learn especially how to pronounce perfectly and learn everyday Spanish sayings.
3. Workshop: Past and present Spain in pictures
In this workshop you will see pictures from the past present of people, houses and “Spain” in general and try to compare them and find the differences. If you’re interested to know how Spanish people looked in the 19th century, them come and join this activity.
Wednesday
14:45 - Photography exposition: ‘Reuters is looking at the world’
This activity is for all who have a passion for photography. It is an exposition of the best photos of 2007 taken from journalists from all over the world. You can’t miss this!
18:30 - Visit to the Caixa Forum: Pictures of Hanna Collins
Otherwise you can choose to go to Caixa forum and see an exposition of films and pictures from the artist Hanna Collins. These films and photos are taken in different countries in Europe and Africa and try to answer to one of the crucials questions in humanity: “How is it to live in a world dominated by unpredictable forces?”
Thursday
19:15 - Concert: Catalan rumba
On Thursday we will go to a cultural centre to listen to a Catalan rumba concert, the typical music here of this region.
20:30 - Paella dinner in the Barceloneta Port
Or you can join us to have dinner in a typical spanish restaurant near the sea. It’s the perfect chance to try Spain’s famous dish, “Paella”. You can choose between chicken paella, traditional paella and vegetable paella. I´m sure you won’t leave the restaurant with an empty stomach
Friday, 18:30 - Hispanic music festival in the Barceloneta beach area
We will go to see a Hispanic music festival around Barceloneta. Come with us and enjoy this cultural atmosphere through music!
