Are you interested in a Business Spanish Course in Barcelona?

Dear All,

I hope that you are all enjoying the first days of Autumn and its very mild temperatures here in Barcelona!

Today I have very interesting news for people looking for a good Spanish Business Course. Our Business Spanish course will be starting again on 16th November.

For this reason, we have decided to organize a presentation meeting that will take place here in our school this coming Wednesday 04th November, at 12.40.

This meeting will be opened to everybody: For the students of our school or anybody else that might be interested in getting more information about this course. So feel free to join it! Just give us a call before Wednesday and we will reserve a chair for you. Here is our address: info@caminobarcelona.com

Let me now give you more information that will help you to decide whether this course is the right one for you!

The first important thing to take into account is that our Business Course is ONLY suitable for students with an intermediate Spanish level or above. This way our teacher will be able to teach at a more specific level.

This course of a 1-4 week duration will be therefore IDEAL for people looking for a job here in Barcelona, or preparing a Business Plan to launch a Business in Spain or simply for Foreign company executives or workers who already have an acceptable level of the language and wish to widen their knowledge of Spanish business
It includes 10 specific Business Spanish lessons per week.

The very interesting thing about this programme is that it is taught by HIGHLY QUALIFIED PROFESIONALS (if you are in the school, you will surely recognize teacher: This is Hector!).

Another very good point is that each lesson is focused on a specific module. Depending on the free time you have, you can confirm from 1 to 4 modules.

Here is the complete presentation of each of our modules and the dates they will be scheduled:

ECONOMY AND FINANCES: 16th November 2009

The student will learn basic vocabulary related to the world of economy and business.
This will enable them to understand the daily economic news or give an informative opinion about it.
They will be able to give presentations and develop ideas from this particular module.

During the first part of the program students will analyse socio-economic Spain.

BUSINESS AND MARKETING: 23d November 2009

The second module (business-marketing), the students will learn about the distinct legal forms that a business may have (sole proprietorships and
corporations) and all of the aspects related to its creation.
The most important task that the students will undertake is a BUSINESS PLAN (group work) based on REAL market research.
The work will be presented with visual aids in front of potential investors.

INTERNATIONAL COMMERCE: 30th November 2009

The third module (international commerce), offers students a wide range of information about the internationalization process of a company, import and export of products and possible obstacles that one might come across.

Based on real models, students will perform COUNTRY-RISK analysis tasks and also a presentation about their findings.

The program also offers students the chance to learn in depth about how trading blocks such as The European Union, MERCOSUR and NAFTA operate.

There will be a particular part of the course which will be dedicated solely to Latin America.

Finally, there will be a section on INTERCULTURAL NEGOTIATION, the student will learn about how it occurs and the different cultural and organization models of each country.

HUMAN RESOURCES AND INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION: 7th December 2009

The fourth module (human resources and internal and external communication) will focus on different management and communication processes that could occur in a company.
E.g. Recruitment process (all phases), performance appraisal, collective negotiation, motivation and results, presentations and conflict management.

Students will also put into practice the communication mechanisms - in formal register - that they have been working on throughout the course.

There will be a section on commercial correspondence which will describe the different business letter models and telephone communication methods.

After completing this course, you will definitely be able to enter into the Spanish working market with an OUSTANDING communicative level!!! This is the best INVERSION course that you can do in this time of crisis!

If you complete all 4 modules, you can sit the ‘Barcelona Chamber of Commerce’ Business Spanish exam and get an official certificate. And if you are interested in sitting this exam, our school will be happy to organise the enrolment for you!

I hope this information was helpful to you.

See you soon!!!
