Me estaba preguntando si todos salís más o menos por los mismos sitios de siempre, y si no estáis ya cansados de ir a los mismos bares y discos, Catwalk, City Hall, Sugar, Plaza Real… ¿No queréis probar algo diferente?
I was wondering whether you all go out around the same places ALL THE TIME, and whether you are already tired of the same bars and clubs, Catwalk, City Hall, Sugar, Plaza Real… Don’t you wanna try something different?
Creo que como turistas que sois en Barcelona, os condenáis al mismo tipo de ambiente, que no digo que esté mal, pero quizá, aprovechando que estáis en España, deberíais probar algo realmente típico español y dejaros de tanto bar para ‘guiris’!
I honestly think that, as tourists, you are always ‘condemned’ to the same atmosphere, which I am not saying it is a bad one, but maybe you should take advantage of where you are and try the real typical Spanish atmosphere for a change!
Si fuérais a otras ciudades de España, encontraríais otro tipo de bares mucho más frecuentes: cutres, con música española, decoración mínima, camareros españoles y en español, bebidas baratas, (y a veces no muy buenas, el llamado alcohol de ’garrafón’), pero ¡muy buen ambiente!
If you go to other cities in Spain, you will find other type of bars more often: ‘less nice’, with Spanish music, decoration kept to the minimum, Spanish waiters and only in Spanish, cheap drinks, (and sometimes not very good, the so-called ‘garrafón’), but a great atmosphere!
Pero no os creáis que en Barcelona no podéis encontrar este tipo de bares: ¡¡La calle de Pere IV y alrededores está llena!! Podéis llegar a la zona de Pere IV en metro, la parada es Marina (L1). Quizá la conocéis por una de las mejores discotecas de Barcelona (si no la mejor), Razzmatazz, o por la ‘otra’ Ovella Negra, que está por allí también.
But don’t think this does not happen in Barcelona: Pere IV area is loaded with these type of bars! You can reach Pere IV by metro, stop: Marina (L1). You might know it because of Razzmatazz, one of the best clubs in Barcelona, or because of the ‘other’ Ovella Negra, which are around the area.
Allí escucharéis música española, y desde luego no encontraréis cocktails tan internacionales como el mojito, ¡pero conoceréis la auténtica cultura de bar española! Allí las bebidas se sirven en litros, y podréis probar cosas típicas como el ‘Calimocho’(vino barato y coca-cola), ‘Agua de Valencia’ (cava con zumo de naranja y más cosas), ‘Guanapito’…
You will get to know more Spanish music, and even though you won’t find the international ‘mojito’, you will experience the real Spanish bar culture! Drinks are served in ‘litres’, and you can try things like ‘Calimocho’ (cheap wine and coke), ‘Agua de Valencia’ (cava with orange juice and more things), ‘Guanapito’…
De verdad, si venís a Barcelona y no vivís el auténtico ambiente de la noche típica española, ¡es como si no hubiérais venido! Ya sabéis, esta semana, ¡cambiad y no os arrepentiréis!
