Bread and Butter: Barcelona Fashion Week
Hello people!
Do you want to know what is on this week in Barcelona?
From tomorrow and until Friday 18th January, Barcelona opens its doors to the fashion industry with a big event called “Bread and Butter: King Size”, which takes place in the Feria de Barcelona (metro stop “Plaza de España”, L3, green line).
Compared to the very same period last year, temperatures are not so warm but the atmosphere of competition among some of the most famous fashion designers in the world will warm us up!
Besides, the space that the fashion stalls from Bread and Butter take is bigger than ever! This year, the collections of Custo Barcelona and Philipp Plein will be presented in the Oval Room of the MNAC (Museo Nacional de Arte de Cataluña), on the top of the Montjuic hill.
All the other shows of the ‘Bread and Butter’, like the Sportswear Arena or the ‘Italia Pavillon’ are located in the Feria de Barcelona, in Plaza de España.
However, the entries to the shows are reserved only for fashion designers or professionals of this field with their own invitations. But many of the trade marks that take part in it will give parties (some of them with free entrance!!) in many clubs downtown Barcelona, where some of the most famous resident djs in town will give you a taste of the so-called ‘Sound of Fashion’.
So, be ready for this weekend because it will be full of fashion events!
Have a blast!

I fell in love with Custo’s designs while studying in Barcelona! Everytime I would walk past the store I would think that some day I’d be lucky enough to own a Custo jacket
I wonder what the new stuff looks like?
