Cassandra’s suggestions to know more about Spanish Culture
Dear all,
It has been more than a week already that Cassandra has started working with us, and she has become more and more active in our department! Today she has decided to present the new format of one of our courses: Our
Hello again all!
As a study-abroad student in Spain like the rest of you, one of the main reasons I came here was to improve my Spanish; however, it would be a shame not to experience Spain’s culture while doing so. After all, the city of Barcelona has so much to offer between its art, cuisine, history, and who could forget its futbol team!
Though passing by La Casa Battló is a must, there’s so much more to learnthan what you can see from a quick snapshot. This is the reason why Camino Barcelona has decided to start its new workshops about Spanish culture! Now when mom and dad come to visit maybe you’ll have a bit more to tell them than “tortilla española” is one of the most popular catalan dishes here.
The super-intensive course will be structured a bit differently from our other courses in the sense that the fifth hour will be a workshop dedicated to a different aspect of Spanish culture.
Some themes we will discuss are: Spanish cuisine, Gaudí, Spanish music, Spanish literature, Spanish history, the Fútbol Club Barcelona, Dali, pronunciation, Spanish literature, Spanish movies, and much more…
By the end of the course you all will have a better understanding and appreciation of Spanish culture and the city that you are currently living in!
Remember, you do not have to be a student of Camino Barcelona to participate in this great, new course! You simply can pay as you go and each course is priced at 7€. Of course you will need to reserve this workshop at least a day before. If you would like more information on this course, feel free to contact us! info@caminobarcelona.comCassandra
