Football in Barcelona - Spanish Cup!
As Daniel has already told you, this week on Thursday 31st January, we will go to the Barcelona Football Club Stadium - ‘Nou Camp’ to watch the football match for the “Spanish Cup” quarter finals between Barça and Villareal!!!
As many of you probably know, it seems that Barça is not going to win the Liga (Spanish Premier League) this year. Some people say it is because of their irregular game and all the physical problems that some of its players, like Ronaldinho or Deco, had. And as the Champions League is also “travelling” to other countries Barça should better think about winning at least the Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup)!!!
The match is supposed to be as interesting as ever also because the team has only drawn this weekend
so they have to work very hard if they don’t want to miss this chance too! Therefore, come and join us to support them but hurry up because tickets are running out very fast if you don’t want to find the most expensive ones…
As well, if you are not here in Barcelona yet, you can join us the next time we go there. In the school, we go to the Nou Camp once a month, either to see a match or to visit the museum. The Barça museum is the 4th most visited museum in Barcelona, and gives you the opportunity to walk in the playground where many very famous players have scored historical goals, like the one below:
Hope to see you there!!

Wow - the Nou Camp is a MASSIVE stadium. I’d love to go see a game there next time I’m in Barcelona… and hopefully Barca will be winning again by then!
