Hi everyone!

For my first blog I have taken on the task of letting you all know about the amazing night-life that Barcelona has to offer. There really is something for everyone!It is a well known fact that Barcelona has some of the best night-life in the World and as a student here partying is likely to be an activity that takes up a large amount of your time (second only to your classes of course!). So I think it is about time someone told you where to go for the best nights out in this lively city!

First things first… VIP!!!!
As a student of Camino Barcelona we can offer you free entry on our VIP guestlist into some of Barcelona’s biggest clubs almost every night of the week!! Check on our activities board in reception to see which club we have VIP for on that night, and then, in the style of James Bond, force us to give up the secret password which will get you past security and into the clubs!

Here is a list of some of the clubs that you can get into with VIP entry:

SHOKO Barceloneta. Step of the beach and into one of the best of the lounge clubs in Barceloneta. Shoko offers a friendly atmosphere where locals and tourists enjoy each others company to some superb music.
LOTUS THEATRE Near Urquinaona. Recently opened, Lotus has managed to get quite a name for itself, often showing live music and shows. Wednesday night is one of the most popular. The style of music is in-keeping with its name ´Manhattan´.
OPIUM MAR Barceloneta. This oh-so-cool club is situated right on the beach with a spacious outdoor area to chill before and after the amazing party inside!
ROXY BLUE Centre. Cocktail service, three rooms, wide range of music and a distinct 80s feel. Roxy Blue is one of the most fun and cosmopolitan clubs in Barcelona.
CARPE DIEM Barceloneta. Yet another of Barcelona’s famous beach locations. Relax in one of the big lounge chairs outside or be impressed by the modern interior. Most definitely a gorgeous place serving delicious cocktails and playing solid house music into the night.

Other Clubs in Barcelona

RAZZMATAZZ Recently voted 8th best club in the world, Razzmatazz is not for the feint-hearted! Situated in an old warehouse near the metro Llacuna/ Bogatell Razzmatazz has 8 different rooms and a huge capacity! The music varies and the ever-changing DJs (often famous) always go down well with the intensely hedonistic crowd.

SUTTON This trendy club is located near Diagonal metro station and aims to attract international clientele, perfect for our students! It offers RnB and Hip Hop in the smoker’s room and Dance and House music in the main room. Be warned, this club can be expensive and the dress code is smart/ elegant, anything less and you can’t go in! Once inside however the atmosphere is great and the staff is extremely friendly!

So there you have it, a comprehensive guide to the best clubs in Barcelona, and courtesy of Camino Barcelona you can get in as a VIP to over half of them! If there’s anything else you need to know just ask at reception.
