Let’s dance Salsa!

Hello everybody!

Have you ever asked yourself where you can go to learn Salsa in Barcelona? Well, I give you a tip… at Camino!

Some weeks ago we had one of our most popular activities: the Salsa class! Like always, we had a full class of enthusiastic students willing to learn some steps of this typical latin dance. It was an unique opportunity of learning how to dance Salsa with a professional teacher.

Teodora taught us something about the rythm and the side to side feel you have to understand while dancing salsa. Initally, everybody was kind of shy and didn’t really know how to do it well, but then, after they heard the first beats and learnt the first steps everyone began to slack and the atmosphere was really great and heated up!

Sometime it was quite entertaining watching the 4 talented boys between all the girls,…although, I have to say, that they seemed to be more interested in the teacher’s hips that in following her steps ;)

At the beginning it were just some basic steps, but then, at the end of the salsa class, almost everybody was ready to go out to a Salsa bar in Barcelona and show what they have learnt at Camino! You don’t have to be a Cuban to know how to dance Salsa!

Hope to see you at the next Salsa class! And if you need some information about some “salsotecas”, just pass by the reception and we’ll recommend you some places!
