My first two weeks
It is now the start of my 3rd week, I cant believe how fast the time is going. It feels like yesterday i was sitting on the plane coming out here, wondering if I was doing the right thing!
I have now got into the routine of school - so my brain is starting to work again - although i am finding the language really hard, the teachers are amazing, and always get the point across!
Barcelona is such a fun city, there is so much going on and so much to see that there is never a dull moment. The obvious tourist attractions are great but pretty busy considering it is Jan! But the school also arrange trips to more local places, which are just as impressive but there are not many tourists.
The bars and clubs are pretty good too, however they dont really get going till 3 and stay open till about 7 - this makes school pretty hard the next day - I have not made it in on a Friday yet! (I have found a great club in the port called Sugar - it is pretty exclusive and worth having a look at, but you may want to pay for a table in VIP or else you will be on your feet all night!)
Yesterday I went to New Camp to watch Barcelona FC play football. This is something that you have to do here.. I am not much of a football fan, but the stadium holds about 90,000 people, and when it is full it is really impressive - oh - and sells the best hot dogs this side of New York..
But so far all is great, i have no regrets leaving London for a few months.. all i have to do now is learn Spanish - maybe manaña!
