Hello everybody!   

Every year it is the same old story: You want to make changes in your life, you have new resolutions in mind, you may even have a set list of your top 10 decisions! I don’t know, something like:

This year for sure, I will:

- Go more to the cinema,
- Travel more,
- Spend less money,
- Eat healthier,
- Read more,
- Exercise more,
- Study more,
- Wake up earlier every morning and take a better advantage of my day,
- Go to all the great concerts of the city even though it is raining and cold,

And finally, and that’s an ABSOLUTE resolution:

-  I will go to all the interesting exhibitions in the city.

Sooo… if going to an interesting exhibition is part of your set-list, here is a suggestion that (to my noble opinion!!!) should not be missed…

For the first time in Spain, almost 30 years after his death, a great retrospective is dedicated to one of the biggest characters ever created, one of the great critics of the beginning of the 19th Century: The great Charlie Chaplin, also known as Charlot or the Little Tramp.

The Caixa Forum (another great place to discover in Barcelona!!! as many of our students have already done, as we organize regular visits to this particular exposition/factory building in Barcelona - see picture-) is holding “Chaplin en Imatges” from the 20th of December 2007 to the 27th of April 2008.

I read that this free exhibition brings together more than 300 documents (including photos, documentary material and film extracts) and that it is really worth seeing it. It follows the transformation of Charlot. (From its creation to its “destruction” in ‘The Great Dictator’.)

Opening days: On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday and bank holiday (except the 1st and the 6th of January 2008) from 10h00 am till 8h00 pm and on Saturday from 10h00 am till 10h00 pm.
