(N)ice Barcelona!

¡Hola a  todos!

¿Qué tal?
I hope you are all ready to celebrate a very happy Christmas and that you are buying a lot of presents!

As most of you probably know, Barcelona, apart from being one of the “capitals of shopping” is also very famous for its night life!We never get bored ;-)

And because we don’t want to miss anything, now there is a new bar in Barceloneta beach called “Ice Bar” for all of those who really want to try everything in their own life!

This bar is the only place in Barcelona where you can experience very low temperatures.
The bar has a costant temperature of-8º Celsius and everything is made of ice, included the furniture! But don’t worry, the bar staff will provide you with everything necessary for you to survive: scarves, hats, gloves…

And if this is not enough for you, well, then just try one of their great cocktails served in their iced glasses (of course!) and you’ll be warmed up!

The “Ice Bar” has also an historical background: it is a particular homage to Barcelona’s most famous architect, Antoni Gaudi.

As we all know, Gaudi’s works always took inspiration from natural shapes and elements. However, there was still a material that was never used before to build up one of his buildings and that is ice!

The bar is open every day from midday to 2:30 a.m. and the kitchen closes at 11:30 p.m.
The “Ice Bar” is located in Calle Ramón Trias Fargas 2, near the metro stop ‘Ciutadella-Vila Olimpica” (L4, yellow line).

Have a blast and bring a thick sweater with you! ¡Hasta pronto!

Amazing! I never thought I’d see minus 8 degree temperatures in Barcelona… even if it is in a bar! It sounds so cool (pardon the pun), I can’t wait to check it out! :)
