One night @ the teatre….

Today i’ll talk about a commedy I saw yesterday @ “Teatre Villarroel”, located in c/Villarroel 87.
The piece is entitled “Intimidad” (”Private Life”) and it deals with the story of a young couple in crisis.
Xavier is a writer and he would like to start a new life and break up with his fiance.
However, he experiences many contrasting feelings: on one hands there are their happy memories, and on the other one, he feels guilty and he wants to have a really happy life.
The actors, Joan Joel and Clara Segura,embodied perfectly the crisis among these two people who think they don’t have any reasons to stay together.
The play is directed by Javier Dualte and it is an adaptation of the namesake book,written by Hanif Kureishi, in which emerges the theme of love for life.

If you like going to the theatre, i suggest you to go to “Teatre Liceu” on January 2008..they will play “Aida”!! well…that’s completely different from “Intimidad”, but it’s supposed to be a huge event in the city!! i’ll be there on January 10th, but hurry up ‘cuz tickets are running out very quickly!!!
