Our Staff at Camino-Part 3: Jérémy’s recommendations

Good afternoon everybody!

I cannot believe how fast time is passing-by in Barcelona! It is probably because there is always a great thing to do, especially in summer! ;-) Imagen 613bis

Today and with great pleasure, I am introducing you to another member of our friendly team: His name is Jeremy and if you are in the school, I am sure you must have already met him as he has been working with us for more than 2 months.

If you are in Barcelona this summer, Jeremy has great recommendations for you:

“Hi everybody!

Let me introduce a little about myself, my name is Jérémy, I’m 21 years old and I’m doing my internship in Camino Barcelona.

Because I study in a Business School, it’s not my first time in Barcelona, I’ve already been here the last summer, it was a fantastic experience that’s why when I’ve met the opportunities to come back in this city, my decision was really quick.

Right now I will explain how to spend a good summer in Barcelona. First of all, I’m someone who likes to practice sports, so if you are used to doing some jogging, swimming or sports like football, rugby or basketball, Montjuic is the perfect place. In this big park you have the entire place to go running for a long time and to see some beautiful things of Barcelona in the same time, you can also go to the Swimming pool with a superb view of all Barcelona, and to finish you can meet some place for playing football, basket-ball and other things with your friends or people of Camino of course!

If you want to do some work-out, you have a lot of gym clubs in the city; you can join the DIR club all over Barcelona, some have a swimming pool and they’re cheaper.

Then if you want to spend a “normal night” you can go to the Cinesa Maremagnum, who show a lot of movies in original version, that way you can’t miss the newest super-production of Hollywood or the melancholic French-movie with our beautiful language ;) To see the detail list of all the original version movies on the city, you can check Sandrine’s blog.

Or an another solution, you can go to Gracia, at the metro station Fontana on the green line (L3), in this neighbourhood you will find a lot of really Spanish little bars, or place of Bottelón like Plaza del Sol, you come with your drink and let’s spend the night to talk with your friends or with new people, who are doing the same thing to you.

And the best for the end CLUBBING!!! I begin my night at one of the Espit Chupito, you have 3 of these bars in Barcelona, they offer more than 300 chupitos with a lot of entertaining things like fire, Chantilly, fruit… and I forgot the funniest. Then go to a club!!! If you like Hip-Hop music the place to be is the Otto-Zutz with all the brand-new songs, the Thursday the Sutton Club is perfect, it’s the most beautiful club in Barcelona, the Sunday let’s go to the Carpe Diem for the Fashion TV night and then if you want to spend a beautiful night, go to the Terraza, it’s a club with a beautiful view of Barcelona in the night.

And don’t forget this weekend the festival @ Gracia, the district will be very animated, the bars will be able to offer all night long drinks like Mojitos for only 2€ and you will be able to attend the contest of the best decorated street.
