Monday 1st March, 2- 3p.m. - Welcome drink
Join us for a drink in school and get to meet some new faces!
Tuesday 2nd March, 1p.m. - Workshop on the Cover Letter
This is very useful for all of you who might be looking for a job in Barcelona, and even if you’re not it will be a good opportunity to learn more vocabulary! This workshop will teach you how to write the Cover Letter that you need to send, along with your CV, to the company that you wish to work for!
Wednesday 3rd March, 2.30pm - Visit to Parc Güell
Come with us on a visit to Gaudí’s beautiful Parc Güell! Not only will you get to admire the beautiful architecture and craftmanship but there are amazing views over the whole of Barcelona!
Thursday 4th March, 7p.m. - Drinks and tapas at La Xampanyeria
A very authentic, lively bar, full of cheap drink and food. One of Barcelona’s hidden gems so be sure not to miss out on what is guaranteed to be a fun evening with all your friends from school!
Friday 5th March, 2pm - Viewing of ‘El Amor Brujo’
Come and watch Carlos Saura’s epic film about love, dance and death within the gypsy communities. The story tells of Candela’s love for Carmen who has married Jose. When Jose begins to dance with another woman on his wedding night Candela becomes so enraged that Jose could dishonour his beloved Carmen he kills him. On returning from prison, 4 years later, Candela finds Carmen being visited by the ghost of Jose. In order to win Carmen over for himself Candela must break the bond she shares with the spirit of Jose. An epic love story brought to life by amazing music and choreography, all shot in an indoor sound stage.
