School Activities 26th-30th November 2007
Hello folks!!!
After a long time, here I’m back again talking about our school activities for this week ![]()
MONDAY 26TH NOVEMBER ‘07: 8:00 P.M.
“WELCOME DRINK”
As well as every single monday, we start our weekly activities with the “Welcome Drink”: a big welcome party for all our new students (and the old ones too)!!
Join us for some drink and snack! That’s the perfect opportunity to get to know everybody here at school!![]()
TUESDAY 27TH NOVEMBER ‘07: 1:00 P.M.
“WORKSHOP: SPANISH TRANSITION”
We will learn something more about Spanish history!
We will study the period between 1975, when Francisco Franco died, whici reprents the end of his dictatorship, and 1982, when democracy started in the country with the victory of the socialist party.![]()

WEDNESDAY 28TH NOVEMBER ‘07: 2:30 P.M.
“VISIT TO BARCELONA’S CENTRE OF CONTEMPORARY CULTURE: TRANSITION”
We will go to the Centre of Contemporary Culture to see the exhibition “Transition”!
The collection is made up of photographs made by some famous artist, by means of which we will learn somthing more about this historical period in Spain (1975-1982).

THURSDAY 29TH NOVEMBER ‘07: 3:45 P.M.
“LET’S GO TO THE CINEMA!”
We will go to the cinema with Alex, one of our teacher, to watch a Spanish movie entitled “REC”, whioci deals with the story of a team of TV reporters.![]()
THURSDAY 29TH NOVEMBER ‘07: 7:30 P.M.
“FLAMENC0″
We are going to a cultural centre specialized in Flamenco to taste some “tapas”, to drink some wine and to listen to live music! Flamenco sessions are now a well-established event in Barcelona night-life!
FRIDAY 30TH NOVEMBER ‘07: 2:30 P.M.
“SEVILLANAS’ CLASS”
Do you want to learn a typical Spanish dance?
Our teacher Leticia will show us and teach us how to dance “Sevillanas”, a style of Flamenco dancing.![]()

Can everybody take part to the Sevillana class or does it required any previous knowledge of dance?

Hello evreybody!!!
Our school offers a big variety of activities every week! we will pubblish the ones for next week as soon as possible… and also we have special activities duiring Christmas!!!
-Mary: actually, in order to take a class of “Sevillanas” with us, you dont need previous knowledges of dance!! just come and join us!!!
