Friday again and time to present our school activities for next week.
Monday, 15:15 - Discover the “Eixample” area
A big welcome to all our new students! Join us for a walk around the school area, the most vibrant part of the city and the perfect opportunity to get to know the school and your new friends!
Tuesday, 14:45 - Workshop: Spanish cooking - Gazpacho
As usual, Tuesdays are a ‘workshop day’ where you can learn more and practice your Spanish. This time, your will learn how to cook a typical Spanish dish - ‘Gazpacho’ (cold vegetable soup). Get your apron on because everybody will help to cook!
Wednesday, 17:45 - Visit to the Picasso Museum
We are going to visit to the Picasso museum, one of the most popular museums in Barcelona, to contemplate and comment on some of the best known works of the famous artist. We are going to see his works during the period he lived in Barcelona.
Thursday, 20:00 - Cuban music in the ‘Jazz Sí’ Club
Let’s got out to this famous bar and dance to the rhythm of Cuban music. Jazz Sí Club is a cosy bar with live music from local artists. Don’t miss it!
Friday, 14:15 - Spanish through Cinema: “Volver”
Film by Pedro Amlodóvar starring Penélope Cruz (she has been nominated for best actress at the Oscars!). The story of three generations of women: a grandmother, her daughters and a grand-daughter.
Saturday, 11:30 - Bike tour
Discover this splendid city in a different and sportive way. Experience the Gothic area, the modern buildings of Gaudí and the Mediterranean beaches.
