School Activities 8th - 12th February

o far! Let’s take a look at what activities we have planned this week…
Monday 8th February, at 6.30 p.m. - Welcome drink
We have lots of new students joining us this week so this is a good chance to get to know everyone and relax after class!
Tuesday 9th February, at 1pm - Workshop on Today’s News
Come and find out what’s happening on the news in Spain at the moment! You will also be able to practice your listening skills and learn some new vocabulary!
Wednesday 10th February, at 7pm - Visit to the MACBA museum
It’s the opening of the John Baldassari exhibition at the MACBA museum which we are going to go and see while enjoying a glass of cava!
Thursday 11th February, at 6pm - Visit to the Poble Espanyol
This is an imitation spanish town on top of Montjuic, where each street represents a different region in Spain. There are also many shops, bars and restaurants and workshops!
Friday 5th February, at 3pm Spanish movie - Spanglish
Plot Summary:
A film all about moving to new places, overcoming language difficulties, and getting to grips with cultural differences which probably seems very familiar to a lot of you!
