School activities 8th December - 12 December 2008

The winter and the Christmas spirit is officially here 
. All the streets of Barcelona are adorned with decorations and lights. Last Sunday we adorned our Christmas tree in my apartament and I always like to do that. Take the chance to enjoy this longweekend, skiing in the mountains, go in Christmas shopping, going to party etc. 
Below are the school activities for next week:
Monday - School closed!
This Monday the school is closed due to national holidays. If you want to do something special or if you want us to recommend you things to do, please ask in reception.
Tuesday, 19:00 - Linguistic exchange
The linguistc exchange comes once again as our students had a lot of fun the last time! We will go to the bar “La Cigale” in Gracia neighbourhood for a language exchange, perfect to meet Spaniards and practice your Spanish.
Wednesday, 15:30 - Photographic exhibition: “Bellezas del siglo XIX”
We will go to the history archive of the city to see the photographic exhibition “Bellezas del siglo XIX” about the city of Barcelona and its citizens in 19th century, from the photographer Joan Martí.
Thursday, 20:25 - Flamenco and tapas
Typical Spanish culture for you all! You will have the chance to taste the famous tapas and enjoy a fantastic flamenco show. And for those who like to party, you can continue the night afterwards if you wish! Free entrance in a club included afterwards!
Friday, 14:45 - Learn Spanish through cinema: “Aquí no hay quien vive”
We will see a chapter of one of the most watched series in the history of Spanish television. This humour series is about neighbours living in a building who are having problems among themselves.
