School activities: Monday 26th July - Friday 30th July 2010
I hope you had a nice weekend! This week, we would like to show you some of Barcelona’s most interesting sights… come with us and enjoy this metropolitain city!
Monday 26th July 2010
Today, as every Monday, we invite all our students for a welcome drink! Join us for some drinks in the bar 37º which is near to the school! It will be the perfect opportunity to get to know everybody here at the school!
Tuesday, 27th July 2010
Today, we invite you to join us for a walk through the Gothic quarter right in the city centre. This beautiful neighbourhood is called so because it used to be the Roman village and its narrow, winding streets show some remnants of its glorious past: the Cathedral, many squares (e.g. Plaça Jaume where thieves used to be hanged in the past), and many more interesting locations…
Wednesday, 28th July 2010
Join us on top of one of the 3 beautiful sun terraces of Camino to watch a Spanish film with us: “Todo sobre mi madre”. Enjoy a good time with your fellow students, a nice film, and learn some Spanish! (Of course, we will subtitle the film.)
Thursday, 29th July 2010
Today we are going to explore one of Barcelona’s most interesting neighbourhoods: the Raval with its mixture of cultures and smells, its little streets, and especially, its bars which are really worth a stay and offer a great possibility to relax, have some drinks and make new friends!
Friday, 30th July 2010
Tonight we will go to Plaza España to see the beautiful Magic Fountains - the “Font Màgica” is one of the Barcelona’s most important landmarks and a top ten Barcelona tourist sigh which was designed by Carles Buigas for the International Exhibition of Barcelona in 1929 as a great spectacle of light and sound.
We are hoping to see you all,
Genta
