Hello everybody!

How are you? I hope you´re doing fine… I went on holiday to visit Germany and some friends of mine last week. We had terrible weather with a lot of rain and a little bit of snow. But I returned to Spain yesterday and I am glad to see that the sun in shining today… ;-) Now I´m back again to tell you about our fascinating activities programme for this week!

Monday: 3:00 pm

Tuesday: 02:45 pm
Workshop: Gabriel García Márquez

We will talk about the life and most famous works of the Colombian Nobel Prize of Literature Gabriel García Márquez, author of “Love in the time of cholera” or “One hundred years of solitude”. The perfect introduction to the movie next day!

Wednesday: 03:30 pm
Let’s go to the cinema: “Love in the time of cholera”

Film with Javier Bardem, based on the so-called García Márquez’s work.

The Spanish actor Javier Bardem has already received lots of awards for his actor work and he is a strong candidate to win the Oscar this year! Don’t miss this interesting film!

Thursday: 02:15 pm
Let’s go for lunch!

We will have lunch in a typical Catalan restaurant: a “daily menu” with main course, second, dessert and drinks. Come and join us!

Friday 03:45 pm
Cineforum “Tapas”

Set in Barcelona, ‘Tapas’ gives us a funny, yet sensitive insight into life in a typical Spanish neighbourhood – very entertaining! Subtitles in Spanish. After, we will do a debate about the film.

See you soon,

Daniel
