School Activities Programme: 9th - 13th June

Hi everybody!

Guess what?! It’s friday and before we leave for the weekend, we wanted to give you a brief summary of the activities for next week. We hope you are all prepared for a new week of school and nice activities. Come on and join us!

Monday, 15h00: Welcome drink

Let’s begin the week with a big welcome for all our new students! For everyone who’s new at school and of course for everybody who has already spend some days or weeks here at Camino, we organise a welcome drink in our garden. Join us and so get to know all the new people at school! Who does not want to meet new people while enjoying typical Spanish tapas and, of course, ’sangría’?! Don’t miss that chance!

Tuesday, 14h45: Cultural Workshop about Pablo Picasso

In this workshop we will learn more about this Andalusian painter, who is known all over the world. We’re sure you will get to know many things about him you’ve never heard before. Furthermore it’s a great chance to improve your Spanish during this workshop. You are all here for that reason, right ;) ? So what are you waiting for?

Wednesday, 14h30 / 14h45 (2 groups): Visit to the ‘Picasso Museum’

After the interesting workshop on Tuesday we will organize a visit to the museum to contemplate and comment on some of the famous artist paintings. I can tell you from my own experience, you will be very surprised to see paintings you maybe wouldn’t have associated with Pablo Picasso.

Thursday, 20h00: Cuban music at the Jazz Sí Club

After the big succes of the last time, we decided to repeat this activity another time. Join us to this famous bar and dance to the mighty rythm of the Cuban music! One of the favourite activities between our students. So, come on and dance!!!

Friday, 14h45: Spanish through cinema ‘Invisibles’

On Friday you can join us and and watch at Camino ‘a story of stories’. The movie-documentary is composed by five stories about diseases, sexual violence and exploitation. It was produced by tha famous Spanish director Javier Bardem with the support of ‘Doctors Without Borders’. Make sure that you bring some tissues!

For those who prefer something more sporty, you can practice your football abilities. Ask Alex for all the info.

We wish you all a pleasant weekend.

See you all on Moday at Camino!
