A big welcome to all our new students! Join us in the garden for drinks
and snacks – the perfect opportunity to get to know everyone!

Trasure Hunt: Modernist Monuments
With Maria’s help, we will go on a ‘treasure hunt’ through the streets of Barcelona
looking for the most important modernist monuments of the city!
Wednesday: 15:00
Visit to “Palau de la Música” Concert Hall
Designed by the architect Domenèch i Muntaner. It is an
exceptional example of Modernism (1908) and one of the
most important concert halls in the world.
Thursday 14:30
“Tapas” lunch
We will go for lunch in a typical restaurant – the perfect opportunity
to taste those famous “tapas” and some real Spanish “sangria” !
Friday 14:30
Film : “Volver”
Film by Almodóvar starring Penelope Cruz (she has been nominated
for best actress at the Oscars!).
