Some advice about the DELE exam
Hi folks,
So, the sun is up again and I am sure we will have a wonderful sunny weather to spend on the beach this weekend.
Here is a new blog from our new Italian work placement David. Have a lovely weekend everyone!
Hi guys!
How are you? My name is David and I’m from Rome and this is my first blog so I really hope you will all enjoy it!
First of all, here’s a brief presentation of myself: I’m an Italian Erasmus student and this is my second week here at Camino Barcelona, I was awarded a scholarship for international students and so I’m going to spend the next six months here in Barcelona!
Today I want to talk about the DELE exam and its importance from a professional and academic point of view. I decided to take this exam last year after having lived in Spain for 6 months and It seems that I had really underestimated how useful this exam would be for me! As I study languages, I signed myself up to try and pass the highest level: C2, and luckily… I did it!
It was however quite difficult as I couldn’t attend any form of preparation course and I had to study on my own, but I would say that if you have the opportunity to do this exam… take advantage of it, you won’t regret it!When I then started to look for some jobs I thought that the employers would only be interested in my English level and I hadn’t even considered that a Spanish official Certificate would be required… but it’s true. Maybe I wouldn’t even be here at Camino if I hadn’t have passed the DELE. All the effort that I made to study for the exam definitely improved my speaking skills, and it would have been made even easier if I had had the opportunity to attend the DELE preparation course. So my suggestion is to go for it! It doesn’t matter which level you take, even an A1 Certificate can help you in your professional life, it’s always important to have a good CV and of course for your own personal satisfaction as well!
Here at Camino you are able to attend a specific DELE preparation course, all the teachers are highly qualified and I know for sure that they will give you the best preparation for the exam that you need!
