The charming neighbourhood of Gràcia

You can get there by walking up Passeig de Gracia or by metro, stopping at Fontana.
Just step off the metro and you will see a bustle of young people that are there to go out or are just wandering around.

There are so many shops with original clothes by young designers that are really inexpensive; you can find a precious dress made just for you for only 50 euros! And if you don’t want to buy anything you can be sure that you will love strolling through the streets that are brimming with things to see and observe.

You will love all of the cheap bars and restaurants bursting with young people, and tea shops that offer a magnificent selection. There are also plenty of “perfumerías” (cosmetics shops) as well as cinemas with films in their original version. Never fear, there are always lots of young people to be found out and about in the streets.

My best suggestions:

Calle Penedés: Check out Azpeleita y Martínez, you won’t believe the clothes you see inside! On the same street you can buy hand-made shoes, peruse the gastronomic bookshop, and look around the pseudo-Japanese shop and many other unique boutiques!

Torrent de l’Olla: Lady Loquita sells everything for positive girls looking to be innovative!

Plaza Rius y Taulet: Romeo and Juliet is a shop just too pretty to be true!

Calle Ramon y Cajal: Verde Jade, a shop for the girl that can handle anything.

After all of that shopping make your way to Planeta Té on Calle Asturias to relax for a while. Or visit one of the huge numbers of bars, La Cigale, Raïm, la Fourmi, l’Anxoveta, A Casa Portuguesa, La Violeta and Bodega Costa Brava offer a bit of everything!

One last piece of advice: wander, wander, wander, wander and then wander around a bit more! In every little corner you’ll find something to love… and of course ask me anything you want! It’s my neighbourhood, I know everything!
