The Pyrenees from the air
I hope that you all have had a great week-end and that you are ready to start this new week full of energy…
This time my blog will be a little different as the ones I usually write as I am not going to write a blog about what’s on in the city, swing music or movie (my weaknesses…) but about one conversation I have had this week with one of our students: Charlie.
Charlie was actually commenting upon one of his activities outside school: Flying airplanes.
And because we all thought it was surprising (and very unusual!), we asked him to explain to us how he ended up flying above Barcelona.
Charlie, now it is your turn!
“Hey,
my name is Charlie and I love flying. I started flying in Germany when I was 14 years old. At that time I flew only Gliders, but soon I wanted more and as I turned 16 I started to train for the Private Pilot License to be able to fly motorized aircrafts.
Now that I have 150 hours and about 400 Landings of flight experience, I still think that this is the greatest feeling in the World: Freedom and Independence have always been two very important feelings for me and flying gave me the opportunity to experience those sensations to the fullest.
If you would like to fly with me one day (e.g. to the Pyrenees, the Costa Brava, the Baleares, France) ask in the school’s reception for my contact details”
So now you know who to contact if you want see Barcelona from the air and have an amazing flying experience!
Have a great rest of the week!
Sandrine
