Weekend in Barcelona

Like I have mentioned before, Barcelona is a great city! The city is very big and it has everything you need: a lot of shops in the centre, very good clubs, a beautiful beach and great restaurants! I am sure you will never be bored when you are in Barcelona. There are a lot of things you can do!
If you don´t like the beach you can go to the city centre. You can chill out on Plaza Catalunya or
you can shop (´till you drop). There is also a very big shopping centre at the seaside, Marémagnum. You can also sit there on a chair and just watch people pass.This shopping centre is also opened on Sundays!
Last weekend I went on Friday night to Shoko. This is a great club at playa Barceloneta. After that we went to Catwalk, it is also a good club very close to Shoko. We had a wonderful night out!
In Barcelona you can also do a lot of other things! Last weekend I went to a very popular, interesting and fascinating exhibition in Museum Marítim.
It is called ´Bodies the exhibition´. This is an exhibition with people bodies. I know it sounds a bit offputting but let me explain. This exhibition shows how your body looks like on the inside. The people who are ´posing´ are dead, of course, and they are totally cut open in several ways. You can see the entire body on the inside. From the brains until the bones in your toes. You can also see the lungs of a smoker and non-smoker. There are a lot of themes. For example muscles. You can see the muscles in the entire body. You can also see the system of the nerves in a body. Another theme is ´babies´. You can see how a child grows during the pregnancy of a woman. You can see how it grows every week. It was really fascinating and it is real! It was really worth it, and it was not scary at all. My friends thought about it the same way. There were also a lot of children who were looking at the bodies like it was a very normal thing.
Another thing you can do in Barcelona is eating tapas! I love tapas! There are a lot of tapas restaurants in the centre. If you want to go to a tapas bar with real natives from Barcelona, you should go to Xampaneria! This is a small bar. You can order a bottle of Cava (typical Spanish champaign for only 2.55 euros!!) with two plates of tapas! There is a great atmosphere. I love going there.
I am glad that I am just here, so I have a lot of weeks to go!
