Hi good people!

Can you imagine watching some of the best rock, pop, electro and independent bands under the stars on a warm spring evening with a sea breeze and 150,000 like-minded music enthusiasts…? Idealistic isn’t it.

From the 22nd to the 25th of May, you will be able to do just that. Once again, the long anticipated Primavera Sound music festival will land in the Parc del Fòrum (L4, yellow line), bringing with it world famous acts such as Blur, The Vaccines and Peace (not so famous, but they’re a favourite of mine so clearly deserve a plug).

For the 12th year running, the organisers of Primavera have managed to present us with a more than impressive line-up, from Catalan pop group Manel, to the smooth British folk sounds of Daughter, with a bit of hip hop thrown in from the Wu-Tang Clan. I think it’s fair to say there is something for everybody!

All of this in the name of celebrating the arrival of spring!

Obviously, it all comes at a price… but if you aren’t willing to spend 80€ on a day ticket I can assure you that as every year, there will be a number of free concerts and gigs around the city for those whose ears can appreciate good music, but whose bank balances cannot. From the 24th April up until the 18th May, 22 bands will be playing in bars around Barcelona as a gentle warm-up for this unforgettable weekend - keep an eye out on flyer boards and online for more details!

Sadly, the end of the weekend is unavoidable but you can blow away those post-Primavera blues by buying yourself a ticket to Barcelona’s second music festival of the year taking place in June – Sónar!

Enjoy!!!!

In the early 70s, thousands flocked from Andalucía in search of a better way of life and more working opportunities, bringing with them aspects of their lives which many people instantly recognise as part of traditional Spanish culture. When Spain is mentioned, I’m sure many of you would immediately picture flamenco, extravagant and colourful dresses, and delicious plates of food.

Luckily for you, you will find all of the above in Barcelona from the 26th April until the 5th May at the Parc del Forum, in the Diagonal Mar district.

Every year since 1971, the Andalucian community of Barcelona have organised their own version of the “Feria de Abril”, creatively christening it “La Feria de Abril de Catalunya”.

It’s fair to say there will be something for everybody at the Feria, from a huge ferris wheel perfect for admiring the beautiful Barcelona skyline, to stalls of sugary treats for sweet teeth amongst us, and the old favourite bumper cars.

If you’re looking for something a bit more cultural, the 70-odd “casetas” (little houses) will be your playground, filled with cheerful people taking advantage of this annual opportunity to sample the Southern way of life – by this I mean singing, dancing and enjoying the free-flowing sherry!

Check this video, it will give you an idea of the atmosphere during this celebration!
Click here to view the embedded video.

Even better, these casetas are completely free to the public, so why not wander in and have a nibble on some traditional fried fish, and then on to the next to experience flamenco at its very finest – if you’re lucky you might find one with an open dancefloor, olé!

Whatever your age there will be something to do at the Feria de Abril, so all aboard to Forum - it’s a weekend not to be missed!

To give you even fewer excuses not to go, on Tuesday the 30th April there will be an organised activity to the Feria with one of our teachers so you can practice your Spanish and learn whilst enjoying this fantastic opportunity! If you are interested, just send us an email to info@caminobarcelona.com and we will give you all the details of the activity.

We hope to see you there!

Hi!

If you live in Barcelona, you must have noticed that there are plenty of stalls in the city with books and roses and you might wonder why. If you want to know more about Sant Jordi, I recommend you to read Yannick’s post as it includes information not only about the tradition but also adresses to go to if you would like to buy a book signed by his/her own author.

If you are in Barcelona, you might also be interested in participating in Sant Jordi’s photograph competition. To do so, you just need to take a really good picture and send it to us by email (and before 0.00) to info@caminobarcelona.com.

Have a nice San Jordi’s day!

Sandrine

Hi everyone!

For the romantics amongst you, you are in luck! Saint Valentine has already passed months ago, but thankfully Catalonia has an extra Saint of Love, his name is Sant Jordi and he invites you all to come and experience the magic of his special day right here with us in Barcelona!

Who do you say? Let me give you a quick introduction to the legend of Catalonia’s patron saint. Sant Jordi lived around the year 300. It is said that during this age the town of Montblanc (province of Tarragona) was terrorized by a dragon which was killed by the brave Sant Jordi. Out of the blood of the dragon a rose sprouted, which he then handed to his beloved one, the princess.

If you want to know more about the legend and practise with your spanish, check this video!

Click here to view the embedded video.

Following the legend, the men now present their sweethearts with a rose, whereas the women buy a book for their lovers. The tradition of giving a book as a present coincides with the World Book Day, as with the date of decease of two of the greatest authors in history, Cervantes and Shakespeare (although Cervantes actually died on the 22nd of April and Shakespeare the 3rd of May).

And what to do on this day if you’re single, you ask? Don’t worry, nowadays, Sant Jordi is more than just giving roses and books, but it has to be said that they do play an important role. In Barcelona you can find authors (especially on Las Ramblas) signing books and selling them at very economic prices. The local pastry shops also participate by making special cakes for the occasion such as the pan de Sant Jordi or even bread filled with rose petals.

Many of the city’s museums and institutions such as the MIBA (Museum of Ideas and Inventions of Barcelona), the Romea theatre or el Ayuntamiento (city hall) open their doors offering workshops or public readings.

If you are looking for free presents, then head over to the markets of El Ninot, Sant Antoni, Sant Gervasi or Bon Pastor where the merchants offer you free roses or books when shopping at their stand.

In the Palau de la Generalitat (home of the Catalan Government) the Cruz de Sant Jordi is awarded to those who have served Catalonia in their own and excellent way during the past year.

As you can see, Sant Jordi is a day filled with love, roses and books. Combine this with the magic that is constantly present in Barcelona and you’ll get the perfect mix for a romantic day. And for the single’s amongst you, who knows, maybe you’ll find your media naranja (soulmate) waiting for you at the bar, so don’t forget to bring a rose!

I hope that you will receive many roses and books!!

Yannick

Hi everyone!

I am a passionate believer in the world of homemade, natural, additive free beer made small scale with nothing but care. If you’ve not already had the opportunity to fall in love with it, you should take advantage of the following bars in and around the city of Barcelona.

In this blog you will find places to drink it and the most relevant festivals and fairs. In the future we can explore more products and types, if you want.

TOP 10 BARS:

1. HomoSibaris: Plaça Osca 4. Metro L1/L3/L5 Plaça de Sants (15 minutes walk from the school, 5 minutes by metro)
In a lovely square in the Sants neighbourhood, you will find the best shop-bar specializing in beers in the city. They care for the product and have an amazing selection of national and international beers. They also produce their own beers under the name SANTS. They always have some on the tap, and if you go, don’t even think before trying it! Charming waiters and a relaxed and beer drinkers’ atmosphere. You can also eat homemade cheeses, sausages and other wonders. Suitable for everyone, whether a lover of craft beer or not.
http://www.facebook.com/espaidetast

2. La Més Petita: C/ Diputació 30. Metro L1/L3 Espanya (10 minutes walk from the school)
Recently opened, this is the smallest bar dedicated to craft beer. A charming place where you will find a surprising and well selected variety of beers, as well as being able to have a bite to eat. It’s an ideal place to go at dusk, either alone or with company for a good pint… or to start the night!
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Cerveseria-La-M%C3%A9s-Petita/143831849109667

3. Cerveteca: C/ Gignàs 25. Metro L4 Jaume I
The first establishment in Barcelona dedicated exclusively to craft beer. They have a huge selection and a small library. Right in the centre of the city, you will find people from every corner of the world. Near the beach, you have no excuse to not go and tell us what you think!
https://www.facebook.com/lacerveteca

4. Ale&Hop: C/ Basses de Sant Pere n 10 bis. Metro L1 Arc de Triumf
In the Ribera neighbourhood there are various beer stops that you must make, and this is one of them. This old bar in the reformed area is a must see. A great assortment of tap and bottled beers, as well as vegetarian snacks and tapas – all made with quality and local produce. Close by, we would recommend the Asian tapas restaurant Mosquito (by the same owner), where there is an amazing menu of small plates and an extensive list of craft beer – the perfect pair!
https://www.facebook.com/aleandhop

5. La Bona Pinta: C/ Diputació 433. Metro L1 Glories
On a street in the little-touristic Eixample Derecho neighbourhood is where you’ll find this new bar with a massive variety of craft beer. It’s the joy of beer-loving neighbours who felt abandoned in their own neighbourhood.
https://www.facebook.com/LaBonaPinta

6. La Resistència: C/ Viladomat n 107. Metro L1 Rocafort
5 minutes walk from the school you’ll find this big bar popular with youngsters, with 10 beer taps. They also have it bottled with national beers as their preference. There is loads of space for a multitude of meetings and it is especially fun when the night falls for its young atmosphere.
https://www.facebook.com/cerveseriaresistencia

7. L’espumossa: C/ Provença 171. Metro L5 Hospital Clínic
A bar offering sausage, cheese and other delicatessen tastings and a small but good selection of beers. Perfect for a bite to eat at the end of the day in your lovely local decorated with taste.
https://www.facebook.com/LEspumossa?sk=wall&filter=12

8. Jazz: C/ Margarit 43. Metro L3 Paral.lel
Mythical settlement in the Poble Sec area where the whole craft beer and home brewing movement started years ago under the Humulus Lupulus Association. It is the root of what is today’s beer loving in Catalonia. A charming place with an amazing selection of beer where you can also eat one of a kind hamburgers. You have to go and experience its atmosphere – you’ll love it!
http://www.cerveceriajazz.com/

9. George & The Dragon: C/ Diputació 269. Metro L3 Passeig de Gràcia
Beside Passeig de Gràcia you’ll find this tourist focused bar and very locals. A good selection and international plates, but it doesn’t have the local charm like the previous bars. If you’re in the area it’s practical and of course, all of the waiters speak English, so it could be good to get to know it!
http://www.georgeanddragonbcn.com/index.php/es/

10. La Cervecita: C/ Llul 184. Metro L4 Llacuna
One of the city’s first bar-shops, located in the heart of the lovely Poble Nou neighbourhood, and a stone’s throw from the beach. It’s only open during the day but with a bigger than big selection of craft beer. With a family, relaxed atmosphere, you will feel very at home! Once a year in the same street the Poble Nou fair is put together – it’s in July and it’s unmissable!
http://www.lacervecita.es/

Try them and let us know your opinion

Cheers,

Anita

Are you all ready for your Easter Week-end? For this very special (and yummy!) date of the year, my colleague Heather has asked our international team to explain to her their traditions in their home country. As you will see, we seem to be having our own way to wait for the Easter Bells!

If you do not know what to do tomorrow Friday, you are still on time to give us a quick call or contact us by email to participate in our Special Easter Tour: “Procesiones de Semana Santa en Barcelona”. Just send us an email to: info@caminobarcelona.com before 5.00pm today and we will send you more information.

Happy Easter everybody!

Hi everyone,

It’s that time of year again when the bakeries fill their windows with chocolatey goods, market stalls appear in the street full of palms and fluffy yellow chicks (the toy version), and everyone seems to put their diet on yet another hold.

Besides the well known traditions of not eating meat on Good Friday and the copious amounts of chocolate which follow, below are some other, less well known traditions which the team at Camino Barcelona have told me about!

Here in Spain (or more specifically Catalonia), Easter is marked by processions, palm leaves and “la Mona de Pascua”.

On Palm Sunday, children are traditionally given decorative inter-woven palm leaves by their godparents – if you wander down Rambla de Catalunya you’ll find some very impressive examples!

Another, understandably very popular tradition is the giving and eating of ‘La Mona’ on Easter Sunday. This is a cake covered in all sorts of decorative chocolate figures, from Easter rabbits to smurfs! Check this video and you will see that “Monas” in Spain are real works of art!

Click here to view the embedded video.

On Good Friday, the procession of the Virgen de la Macarena begins in Raval, ending up at the cathedral in the Gothic Quarter in the evening. Expect drums, a giant statue, and pointed hats.

Marta told me that similar sights are found in Italy, although olive branches are often an alternative to palm leaves.

According to André, in Portugal Easter is a time for families and eating, with everybody getting together and sharing gifts. Families can also receive a visit from the priest or other church representative. Apparently the priest is welcomed into the dining room which is well stocked with the traditional Portuguese ‘Folar’ bread and liquor. Lucky him!

“Natale con i tuoi, Pasqua con chi vuoi” (Christmas with family, Easter with anybody). Unlike in Portugal, Easter in Italy is a time to be spent with friends picnicking in the countryside or enjoying the mountain air.

French, English and German children spend Easter Sunday following clues and “hotter/colder” directions on the hunt for chocolate eggs in their gardens or local parks, hidden the night before by the Easter bunny.

It’s not all about chocolate in Germany – Stefanie told me that children and adults bring out their creative sides painting eggs which are often hung decoratively in trees. Don’t worry though; the actual egg part is removed first in case of any strong winds.

¡”Felices Pascuas”!

Good afternoon everybody!

Are you all ready to start this new sunny week-end?

If you don’t know what you will be doing yet and would be interested in doing something very special, we have a suggestion for you: You can go to Las Fallas in Valencia which take place from 15th to 19th march. We still have places available at the reception of the school!! If you are interested in joining this short trip, just send us a quick message before the end of the day (18.00, max) at info@caminobarcelona.com and we will explain to you how to reserve your seat on the coach available for you.

If you want more information about this very special activity we are organising, check Stefanie’s blog!

Hola chicos y chicas,

Have you already heard about our trip to “Las fallas” (English: The bonfires).
Click here to view the embedded video.
Las Fallas are a huge annual celebration in Valencia which take place from the 15th to the 19th of March.

Since the Valencian people are very keen on their festivity, preparations for it start weeks before the official beginning. From the first of March on each day there is a special firework display in the town hall square and little concerts all around the town.

What is most impressive about the Fallas are the huge sculptures made from papier mâché which gave the Fallas their name. The sculptures always caricature a certain theme – most likely famous politicians or athletes. The biggest figures among them are as high as a house, weigh more then 10 tons and are worth more then 100.000 Euros. At the end of the festival these sculptures are lit up and burned down as a big spectacle.

We will start our trip on the 16th of March meeting at the “Arco de Triumfo” to go to Valencia by bus. We will reach Valencia after a few hours on the bus in which you can, for instance, admire the landscape of the south of Spain or speak to new people.

When we arrive the Fallas will have reached their peak and we can just start our tour through the city. An experienced bilingual guide will lead us to the most interesting points and will tell us about the history of Valencia and the Fallas.

At 14:00 you get the chance to watch a firework display in front of the townhall. At 16:30 it is time for the yearly awarding of the best sculptures in different categories. The most beautiful and creative ones will be copied in miniature and will get in row with the former winners in a Valencian museum.

The Fallas are a unique experience which you should not miss and besides one of the rare chances to get to know Valencia without paying for accommodation.

Don’t miss it

Sometimes it’s because of Google, which does its best, but it’s not human. Sometimes it’s through linguistic carelessness, but whatever it is, they’re hilarious.

Sometimes sayings in Spanish become incomprehensible sayings for the English. Here are a few of my favourites:

- “Once a day” translated as ‘once veces al día’. I hope they’re not talking about siestas!

- “From lost to the river” – a translation of the saying “de perdidos al río”, which we use to express that since the situation is impossible you might as well do what you want. Better said “out of the frying pan and into the fire”!

- “Exit”translated by “Éxito” rather than SALIDA.

- “For tasters, the colours”, a terrible translation of “para gustos, los colores”… An expression we use to highlight individual freedom and the multitude of human tastes. “Each to their own” is a more understandable translation!

- “All the fish is sold here”, translation of the Spanish “Aquí está todo el pescado vendido”, used when there is nothing left to do in a place or situation.

- “To throw the house through the window” from the Spanish saying “tirar la casa por la ventana”, used when we exceed expenses for a special occasion… you would be more likely to hear “to push the boat out”.

- “To drink even the water out of the vases” this is without doubt my favourite. From the popular pure Spanish saying “Beberse hasta el agua de los jarrones”, which we use when a person hasn’t stopped drinking all day or night.

To be continued!

Hi folks!

Our new intern Heather has a written a blog about valentine’s day! Yes, it is tomorrow and we suggest some things you can do on this special day here in our beautiful city, Barcelona.
Enjoy it:

Hello everybody! I’m Heather, a new intern here at Camino Barcelona. As Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, I’ve been set the challenge of gathering a few ideas to help you bring out your romantic side on one of the ‘most loved’ days of the year.

Looking to impress someone with your sporting prowess? Sandrine suggested taking to the boats in the Parque de la Ciudadella – why not bring a bite to eat and set up a picnic on the grass afterwards to regain your energy. Who knows, you might need it later… for a walk around the Born neighborhood! Is there anything more romantic than getting lost amongst the narrow streets and admiring the beautiful modernist architecture?

Talking of getting lost, take a trip to the Parque del Laberinto de Horta. As the name suggests, here you’ll find a maze, as well as lovely gardens to wander around. However, the old trick of keeping your left hand on the wall doesn’t work… So avoid that one if you don’t want to be ridiculed. (Plus it takes the fun away, nobody likes a cheat.)

Stumped for ideas for an evening activity? Sandrine also suggested checking out the super cosy bar Gimlet, an underground heaven off the tourist track, serving great cocktails all night long. But if you’d rather wine and dine your darling, go to La Lluna restaurant in Eixample. You might want to make a reservation to avoid disappointment, it looks delicious!

For those of you with hearts bigger than your wallets, Olga suggested going for a cheap but cheerful romantic stroll along the beach with a picnic of some traditional Catalan food, or as Sonia suggested, cook up your own heart shaped burgers. Who said romance was dead?

If a romantic view of the city is what you’re after, visit Mount Tibidabo and enjoy the amazing views of Barcelona from the oldest amusement park in Spain. Warning – although love ‘in the air’ seems ideal, the rides are not for the faint hearted or those prone to a touch of vertigo. However if you’re feeling brave, the impressive views are most definitely worth the fear factor.

Finally, for the lonely hearts amongst us, Telepizza offer two heart shape pizzas for 13,95€, so get comfortable with your favourite rom-com and appreciate the joys of single life.

Hello again and a happy new year!

Here’s a blog to help you start 2013 in the best possible way!!!

There is a whole other Barcelona out there full of traditional, old bars. In these bars, homemade vermouth is sold on tap and time stands still. Maybe they stopped in 1962, maybe be was 1974 or even 1999 but when you enter one of these bared, you can’t help but notice that you’re in another era. It’s like a photograph of a Barcelona that once was.
So here you are, this is my way of introducing you to them. You are bound to fall in love!
In these bars you have to order vermouth and a little tapas dish. They are always cheap and the tapas that go best are anchovies, olives and cockles. Let yourself be advised on this one! The waiters are always very willing to help!

I personally recommend the following vermouth tasting routes through the neighbourhoods of the city:

GRACIA: most people will take any excuse for a mooch around Gracia, but here you have a few more to persuade you.

La vermutería del Tano, C/Joan Blanques 17
Really good value and comes highly recommended for an appetitive before lunch on a Saturday or on a Sunday morning, afternoon or evening. Vermouth is just 1.50€ and there are tapas for just 1€! Always overflowing with happy people.

Bar Bodega Manolo, C/Torrent de les Flors 101
This is a spot where they also do deal of the day of traditional Catalan food. The perfect plan: order yourself a little glass of vermouth and stay for lunch. The menu of the day is 10€ Monday to Friday, 12€ on Saturday and 15€ on Sunday. You will love it.

Bodega Marín, C/Milà i Fontanals 72
This one is right in the heart of Gracia! If you’re not a huge fan of vermouth, get yourself a beer but whatever you order, be sure to order the “croquetas”; they’re original and homemade. Brilliant.

Bar Bodega Quimet, C/Vic 23
You might need a Little help from google maps to get you there but once you arrive, you won’t regret it! They serve excellent vermouth and some well thought out tapas which are a delight! You’ll think you’re in heaven, or at least in a long gone era. A glass of vermouth and a bite to eat, 4€!

RAVAL: you will see this neighbourhood in a whole new light.

Bar Bodega Frank Petersen. C/Bisbe Laguardia 6
The cold meats in this bar are wonderful and you won’t be the only one to combine them with a beer. This is a winery with a classic air and a lot of Young, happy people. The ideal way to end your afternoon or kick-start your night!

La Masia C/Elisabets 16
A classic choice for the city’s students, this bar is a compulsory step before continuing with the tour of the neighbourhood (or increasing the alcohol content of the drinks!!!) Order the “tortilla de patatas” it is one of the best around!

EIXAMPLE: you won’t believe all of the wonderful places you can find just a round the corner from the school!

Bar Bodega D´En Rafael, C/Manso 52
Considered a classic among the best in the city, here you will find the 3 most coveted Bs: Bueno, Bonito y Barato. (for those of you who are yet to start your Spanish course, that is delicious, pretty and cheap!) Order wine, vermouth or a beer but whatever you choose, go with your instinct and opt for some tapas.

MORRO FI, C/Consell de Cent 171
Literally 2 streets away from the school, you have this Little hideaway. Despite it’s modern aspect, it has the soul of an old style winery. They do some great vermouth cocktails and wonderful tapas!

If this little taster has got you ready to go, check out the following website to see about other areas of the city. You’ll find all the information alongside a dose of good humour

http://www.enocasionesveobares.com/#

Venga, a vermutear! Come on, get yourself a glass of vermouth!

And here comes a blog about the Christmas activities in Barcelona. Of course there is a lot going on in this fantastic city, but Becca has picked out the top 10!

Enjoy it and we hope to see you here in Barcelona

The Chirstmas lights have been turned on all over the city and in just 2 short days you can crack open the first window of your advent calendar.

So, after a bit of research have decided to give you the Top Ten Christmas activities to get you feeling festive.

1.	Christmas at the Magic Fountain: The Magic Fountains in Plaza España are a treat all year round but at Christmas, the organisers really go all out to make it an extra special experience. A sprinkling of Christmas spirit along with the already magical fountains is the best way to get you in a mood to celebrate.

2.	Santa Llucía Christmas market: The king of all Christmas markets, the Mercado Santa Llucía has everything you could wish for, ranging from the traditional Caganers and cagatiós I referred to in my last blog to the treats you want to leave your loved ones under the Christmas tree. It started last weekend and so get a move on and get your Christmas shopping done before all the best presents are gone!

3.	The Giant Caga Tió:. If you have read my blog about Caga Tió you will have to find a moment to pop down and join in on all the fun of this ancient tradition. The giant Caga Tió has pride of place at the Santa Llucía Market and the best part is that you don’t have to be a child to participate! Fun for everyone.

4.	Nativity scene Plaza Sant Jaume Barcelona: Amongst all the hustle and bustle Christmas shopping and celebrations, it is easy to forget the real reason for celebrating on December 25th. In the Plaza de Sant Jaume, you will find a lovely reminder in the form of an exquisite nativity scene. Every year there is a different take on the age old story. This year there is an especially modern twist but I won’t ruin the surprise so you can go and check it out for yourselves.

5.	Ice skating in Plaza Cataluña Barcelona: Coming from England it has to be said that for me, Christmas goes hand in hand with the cold weather. Here is Barcelona, the temperatures are a bit milder but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on one of the best winter activities. The ice-skating rink is up and running in Plaza Cataluña so get wrapped up and try not to fall over because there is someone videoing the whole thing!

6.	Winter Catalan Beer Festival: If, like me, your sporting capabilities are rather limited and you feel that ice skating is likely to end in either a broken bone or a bruised ego, I would recommend this as a fail-safe alternative. The winter beer festival takes place in Vilanova y la Geltrú just 30 minutes away on the train on 15th December. I can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon in winter.

7. Russian Ballet “Cascanueces”: If you are looking for a sophisticated alternative to a good old fashioned Christmas pantomime, you can’t do better than the Russian Ballet. “Cascanueces” or the Nut Cracker is being performed in the Teatro Coliseum from the 21st until the 26th December and it is just around the corner from the school. An all around show stopping proposal!

Traditional Midnight Mass at Santa María del Mar: Midnight mass or “la misa del gallo” in the Cathedral Santa María del Mar is bound to be an unforgettable experience. As such people from all over Barcelona flock to this spot in to experience this very special service in one of the most beautiful churches in the region!

9.	Concerts in the Palau de la Musica Catalana: If you are looking for something to help fight away the post Christmas blues, we have just the ticket! A ticket to the Chambao concert in the Palau de la Música to be more precise. A wonderful concert in this beautiful setting- what’s not to love?? If Chambao isn’t exactly your cup of tea, you still have the chance to see inside this beautiful venue. On 28th December Paco Ibañez sings the poets of Latin-America and on 31st there will be a huge new year’s eve concert. Start the year as you mean to go on in this beautiful historical building.
10.	The arrival of the kings: By 5th January all the excitement is usually over in England but here in Barcelona it is still in full swing. The “Cavalcata de Reyes” or the arrival of the 3 kings happens in a different way every year. In recent years, they have arrived by sea and even by helicopter. I am sure this year won’t fail to live up to its predecessors!

Keep your eyes peeled for our upcoming blogs: a very special team blog about the different traditions in our countries and our recommendations for how to bring the New Year in, in style!

Cheers
