Welcome to Camino Barcelona Spanish School, your pathway to mastering Spanish through immersive learning experiences! We are thrilled to introduce our exclusive Bildungsurlaub program tailored to suit your educational needs.
Our Bildungsurlaub program offers intensive Spanish courses designed to enhance your language proficiency within a short timeframe. Accredited for 1 or 2-week durations, whether you need at least 1350 or 1800 minutes depends on the respective federal state.
What is Bildungsurlaub?
Bildungsurlaub, or "educational leave," is a unique program in Germany that allows employees to take time off from work for further education and training purposes. This statutory right enables workers to enhance their skills, knowledge, and language proficiency while experiencing cultural immersion in approved educational institutions worldwide.
Our Accreditation
Camino Barcelona Spanish School is accredited to offer Bildungsurlaub courses, providing participants with a valuable opportunity to advance their Spanish language skills within a structured and supportive learning environment.
Course Components
We offer tailored Spanish programs for your educational leave in Barcelona, meeting all requirements of your specific federal state. Classes run Monday to Friday, combining intensive language training with cultural and social topics. All courses start at 9:30 AM; finishing times (3:30 PM, 4:10 PM, or 5:30 PM) vary depending on your state's regulations.
Intensive course
In the intensive course, you work specifically on all important language areas such as grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, listening comprehension, writing, pronunciation, and oral communication. The lessons are interactively structured and designed to ensure that you actively apply Spanish and make rapid progress.
Socio-political education
Here, you deal with current topics regarding Spain and its society in order to gain a better understanding of life, culture, and current developments in the country. You will learn, for example, more about migration and social change, leisure culture and lifestyle, work-life balance in Spain, tourism and its importance for the country, sights as part of cultural identity, as well as regional differences within Spain.
Oral communication & practice
The third block focuses on active speaking. You train for real everyday situations and specifically improve your oral language skills. This includes, for example, job interviews, talking about your morning routine, engaging in small talk, ordering in a restaurant, asking for directions, making appointments, or expressing your own opinions.
