Semi-Intensive and Conversation Spanish Course

Every Monday. For Complete beginners - the first Monday of every month.

2 classes per day, 15 classes per week. If you would like higher or lower intensity of study, please consult our course page to see all of our courses.

You can choose one of the following timetables: from 13:40 till 16:10 from Monday to Friday (except bank holidays) or from 16:10 till 17:50 three times a week and from 16:10 till 20:00 two times a week the second timetable is available from 18 September 2023

Improve your Spanish and enjoy your time in Barcelona by joining in our daily activities, such as salsa parties and paella classes on the school terraces, guided walks around Barcelona, visits to places of interest, as well as weekend excursions - always accompanied by one of our native Spanish teachers!

If you like, you can join our afternoon club free of charge (from 16:30 till 17:30 Monday to Friday or from 18:00 till 20:00 Monday and Wednesday - the second timetable is available from 18 September 2023), where you will be able to use our facilities to practice listening, speaking, writing, and reading skills always with a teacher available to assist you as necessary.

Your level of Spanish will be assessed by an inital online written test and by an oral test at the school on the first Monday of your arrival. You will be placed in the intensive Spanish group of your exact level.

You can choose to study for any period of time from 1 week upwards. It is also possible to come a few times for short periods, every time continuing your learning exactly where you left it.

Each class academic hour is 50 minutes of Spanish study.

There is no need to buy books or other study materials. All necessary study materials are provided during the lessons. In addition, optional homework materials are provided at the end of each lesson. However, if you want to buy a course book, you can choose to do so.

There are two types of certificates provided by our school: the attendance and achivement certificates. The attendance certificate is given to every student at the end of their course, providing that they attended at least 80% of their classes. The achievement certificate is usually used to claim academic credits for students' University degrees.

On these days there will be no group classes.

If you have no prior knowledge of Spanish, Don´t worry! We start a complete beginners' group which is open every Monday of the year.

Our school uses a communicative methodology, which is the most efficient way to learn a foreign language. This means that you will learn Spanish through using it for real communication between you, the teacher and other students in your group, instead of just studying the language passively. This is widely accepted as the most effective and rapid way to achieve a real, practical ability to speak, understand, read and write Spanish. It is also a very enjoyable process!
