MISSION
Camino Barcelona is a private Spanish language school located in the heart of Barcelona. Since our foundation, our main goal has been to provide high-quality services for learning Spanish as a foreign language. Our students are the cornerstone of our mission, and we are guided by the following core principles:
Integration
We welcome international students from all over the world and provide them with the tools to fully integrate into the social and cultural life of Barcelona. Through our extensive extracurricular activities program, we guide students to discover the city and immerse themselves in its unique local culture and traditions.

At Camino Barcelona, we offer tailored guidance and support, including our popular Afternoon Club—an open space where students can get extra help from a teacher—and individual tutoring sessions for more personalized academic assistance.

We are committed to educational excellence. Our modern Spanish learning programs are regularly updated to reflect the latest language teaching practices. All of our teachers are qualified native Spanish speakers with proven expertise, empathy, and a strong commitment to student success. Camino Barcelona has been accredited by the Instituto Cervantes since 2013.
Facilities
Effective Spanish learning requires a comfortable and motivating environment. Our school is located in central Barcelona and features spacious, fully equipped classrooms—30 in total—within walking distance of top cultural landmarks, providing an inspiring setting for immersive language learning.

VISION
Since our foundation, Camino Barcelona has aimed to become a leading Spanish language school (ELE) in the heart of Barcelona, by focusing on three core goals: offering the best in education, cultural activities, and student accommodation.
Education
Our mission is to ensure students learn Spanish in a communicative, efficient, and enjoyable way—achieving all their language goals. To support this, we rely on four key pillars: our proprietary teaching method, expert teaching staff, a modern educational program, and official DELE & CCSE exam accreditation. Our Camino Method is designed and constantly refined by our own teachers. It focuses on real-life communication in everyday situations and combines proven, widely accepted techniques from the ELE teaching world. All our teachers are native Spanish speakers, fully qualified and experienced in teaching Spanish as a foreign language (ELE). They are specialists in our methodology and ensure students feel confident, actively participate, and progress through dynamic and intuitive classes. Our curriculum is clearly structured for each level and course type, always incorporating relevant, up-to-date topics. We are also an official DELE and CCSE exam center and regularly offer preparation courses for DELE A2, B2, and C1 levels, led by certified examiners.
Leisure & Culture
We want our students to make the most of their time in Barcelona and enjoy a fully immersive Spanish learning experience. That’s why we offer an exciting weekly calendar of extracurricular cultural activities—7 unique events per week, from Monday to Friday, that change regularly. Activities include guided city tours with a Spanish teacher to explore different neighborhoods and landmarks; unique experiences like Art & Wine nights, wine and coffee tastings, salsa dancing, and sports (like bike tours or paddle surfing); weekend trips to beautiful towns such as Girona, Palamós, Tarragona, Tossa de Mar, and Begur; plus welcome events and evening social tours to help students connect from day one.
Student Accommodation
We aim to provide students with a wide range of accessible and comfortable accommodation options during their stay. Our own on-campus residence, located right next to the school, offers 12 fully equipped apartments with large private terraces. Additionally, we offer shared apartments near the school and carefully selected host families, giving students the opportunity to live in a Spanish-speaking environment and enjoy a truly immersive cultural and language experience.
