The Salsa you'll learn and practice in our Spanish and Salsa Course is Cuban Salsa. In each class, our experienced Salsa instructor will lead you through a warm-up, assess your skills and progress, and introduce you to new steps that you can confidently showcase at any party, including our lively Salsa terrace party!

Course overview
Learn Spanish and learn how to Salsa at the same time! Each week you will have 20 or 10 Spanish lessons with experienced, native Spanish teachers and 2 or 5 Salsa classes with a professional Salsa instructor. Dancing Salsa is the perfect way to unwind after Spanish lessons, and a great way to make friends with other students who have the same love for dancing as you!
Our Salsa Classes take place In the evening from 19:00 to 20:00 or from 20:00 to 21:00, in the dance studio located right in our school building, leaving you plenty of time to explore Barcelona and to join our daily activities.
Join our Spanish and Salsa courses if you want to experience a full immersion in the Spanish language, not only in class but also with the music!
Whether you've never stepped into a ballroom, or you are an experienced Salsero, our Salsa classes welcome dancers of all levels, since they are structured in a way that is suitable for all levels.
The study plan for our Spanish Courses is developed according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). Once you finish the course, you can request a Certificate of Attendance to show off at your university, job, or add to your CV!

Intensive course+Salsa: Intensive course from 09:30 to 13:10, salsa classes five times a week from 19:00 to 20:00 or twice a week from 20:00 to 21:00
Semi-Intensive+Salsa: Semi-Intensive course from 14:40 to 16:10 or from 16:20 to 17:50, Salsa classes five times a week from 19:00 to 20:00 or twice a week from 20:00 to 21:00

Our Salsa Classes
If you take 5 Salsa Classes per week, your classes will be Monday to Friday from 19:00 to 20:00.
If instead you take 2 Salsa Classes per week, your classes will be on Monday and Wednesday from 20:00 to 21:00.
If instead you take 2 Salsa Classes per week, your classes will be on Monday and Wednesday from 20:00 to 21:00.
On your first class, our Salsa instructor will examine your level and then plan the rest of the classes accordingly. Each Salsa class typically begins with a warm-up and freestyle dancing. After that, you will either learn new dance figures or review ones you already know, focusing initially on the timing and steps before incorporating music.

There is no need to buy books or study materials
The teachers will provide you with all the necessary learning material, homework included. However, if you want to buy or rent a book, you can choose to do so!
Spanish Course Certificate
At the end of your Spanish Course, you can request an Attendance Certificate (if you attended at least 80% of your classes).
Testing your level of Spanish and Salsa
If you are not a complete beginner, you can take a written level test here and do an oral test with our teachers. One week prior your Spanish Course, the teachers will take care of contacting you via email to arrange it, so make sure to check your inbox!
Your Salsa level will be assessed by our instructor directly on your first day of Salsa.
Daily Fun Activities
Have fun in Barcelona while meeting like-minded people and getting the chance to practice your Spanish outside of school! With our daily activities, you will be able to experience Barcelona like a local, thanks to our experienced teachers who will guide you through the activities. We also offer activities during the weekend!
Most of the activities are free or come at very reduced cost.

START TESTIf you are not a complete beginner, you will have an oral level test, in which your Spanish knowledge will be carefully assessed, and you will be able to attend the Spanish and Salsa course in the group of suitable level and intensity.
