Albert is one of our Academic Coordinators and also one of our top teachers. He teaches conversation classes, prepares students for the DELE exams, and collaborates on extracurricular activities.

Catalan, Spanish, English, and a little French and German

Qualifications:

He holds a degree in Spanish Language and Literature (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), a Master’s in Training Teachers of Spanish as a Second Language (National University of Distance Education), and DELE examiner accreditation for level C (Instituto Cervantes).

Favorite places in Barcelona:

My favorite places in Barcelona are the Collserola mountain range, Poblenou, and the Laberint d’Horta Park.

My hobbies:

I love all kinds of cultural activities. My greatest passions are reading and dancing, but I’m also a very restless person — I enjoy swimming, hiking, and, of course, good food!

Personal statement:

What I like most about being a teacher is constantly meeting people from different places, with different perspectives, learning styles, and ways of relating to the world. This enriches me enormously as a person, and I love helping my students achieve their goals in Spanish so they feel confident communicating and can truly experience the culture and life that this city has to offer.
