I have been trying to learn Spanish for over twenty years with apps tapes and cd's television books but its the same old story you have lost inspiration year after year you try again. Well this year I decided enough is enough and I booked a two week intensive course at Camino in Barcelona, and I can honestly say this has been the best two weeks of my Spanish learning life. I have learnt so much from the teachers who make learning fun and the other students who all help you, nobody is made to feel stupid no matter what the question is and on top of all the learning it´s a great life for the time that you are there, you live like a local and you talk like a local. CAMINO BARCELONA IS TAKING YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

Favorite Places in Barcelona:

I liked travelling around on the metro system and walking around the quieter areas of Barcelona. I have seen all the tourist places when I went with my family many times in the past. This time I hung around the local cafes and shops. If you really need an answer then I would have to say that the gothic quarter is a great place to hang out.

Camino not only offers the opportunity to learn Spanish but also offers daily activities such as wine tasting, walking tours, trips around the city and paella cooking classes! For me, the community is the most special part of Camino – from the teachers, to the students, to the social media team and everyone who works every day behind-the-scenes to make sure everyone has an amazing experience at Camino.

I’ve documented my entire stay at Camino through daily vlogs on my YouTube channel! I show you what the on-site accommodation is like, what classes at Camino are like and take you along to some of Camino’s daily activities. If you’re interested in coming to Camino, first of all – great decision! Secondly, you can use my discount link for 20% off all the courses here at Camino. So, what are you waiting for? After being in Barcelona for 1 month I decided to join Camino Barcelona and since then it’s been incredible! Not only have I improved my Spanish in the past 2 months, but I’ve also participated in many tours around and out of Barcelona and I’ve met so many great people at the school with whom I spend a lot of time with. They have become my family and Camino Barcelona my home.

Favorite Places in Barcelona:

There are so many beautiful places that I like here but my number one visit were the Bunkers. Witnessing a sunset with a 360 view over Barcelona is an unforgettable experience.

I’ve been here for two weeks and think that the whole life is not enough to know in details every corner of this city. I studied Spanish and in the breaks I tried to get to know the city, thanks to Camino’s activities it’s much easier and more interesting! When you’re hearing the stories about your favourite city in Spanish, it’s an unforgettable experience! You meet people from all over the world who speak English and study Spanish so this language is really the best for communication.

Favorite Places in Barcelona:

The Sagrada Familia is the heart of Barcelona! I will never get tired of looking at each detail of this temple. The Carmel Bunkers - the place with the best panoramic view! You can see the best sunsets in your life there! Barceloneta - it’s a place where you can relax any time you want! The sea gives me a lot of energy and I enjoy observing how people are having a good time there - they play volleyball or go running, swimming or just lying on the beach!

I attended Camino Language School when I first arrived In Barcelona in 2021. I came with little or no knowledge of the city or Spanish so Camino was the perfect place to be for me! The staff were extremely friendly and the teachers were encouraging, engaging and overall supportive. I really enjoyed doing the after school activities which are held 7 days a week. My favourite was the wine tasting on the schools rooftop and city tours!

I enjoy to be out-and-about embracing the atmosphere and customs. One of the best parts of my stay here is to walk around and discover new places. After I leave, the next stop on my list is Guatemala, publish more books, and to finish my apprenticeship for becoming a licensed optician.

Favorite Places in Barcelona:

Once I do leave Barcelona, I will miss my favorite place that has the best pizza: La Pizza de Borne.

The teaching methodology at Camino Barcelona, was perfect for me. English is not allowed, and the teachers (who only speak Spanish if you're not stuck) are incredibly enthusiastic and inspiring. The teachers also run activities (which are also in Spanish), and they really are the highlight of the Camino experience. I've never been anywhere where it's easier to make friends of all ages and from diverse backgrounds. The shared learning experience really brings everyone together like nothing else I've ever experienced before. A Spanish course in Spain with on-site accommodation is also very convenient because it's so close to the classrooms that you can literally go from your bed to the desk in 5 minutes - so there's no excuse to miss class! The staff in the back rooms are also very helpful and accommodating. I had a great time from start to finish and really made lifelong friends that we met many times. I'm going back to Camino again next week and plan to go again this summer!

Favorite Places in Barcelona:

Bogatell beach (Vai Moana the beach bar is amazing in summer) and watching the city lights come on from the hilltop bunkers - magical.

My experience has been amazing!! I didn’t really know what to expect coming on my own, I knew I would enjoy it as I would be in Spain but I didn’t just enjoy it, I had the time of my life!! The students, teachers, weather, city, culture, language and so much more just made my whole experience incredible!

I searched on Google for language schools and the first thing I saw was the Camino Barcelona website. I searched for more information on the website, Instagram and YouTube. I was attracted by the fun life of the school and the approach to learning Spanish. After researching, I booked a room right away.

Favorite Places in Barcelona:

For the people who would like to study here or want to visit Barcelona, I really recommend the beach (barceloneta) and the parks for example park Guëll.

What an amazing learning experience I had with Camino. The teachers were warm, patient and encouraging. The teaching approach was very good, consisting of various techniques to make learning Spanish fun and effective. The social aspect of the course was also impressive. The daily afternoon activities, such as walking tours in the city, provided a full immersion experience to be shared with like minded people.

Favorite Places in Barcelona:

Camp Nou was my favorite place in Barcelona!
