The teaching methodology at Camino Barcelona, was perfect for me. English is not allowed, and the teachers (who only speak Spanish if you're not stuck) are incredibly enthusiastic and inspiring. The teachers also run activities (which are also in Spanish), and they really are the highlight of the Camino experience. I've never been anywhere where it's easier to make friends of all ages and from diverse backgrounds. The shared learning experience really brings everyone together like nothing else I've ever experienced before. A Spanish course in Spain with on-site accommodation is also very convenient because it's so close to the classrooms that you can literally go from your bed to the desk in 5 minutes - so there's no excuse to miss class! The staff in the back rooms are also very helpful and accommodating. I had a great time from start to finish and really made lifelong friends that we met many times. I'm going back to Camino again next week and plan to go again this summer!
Favorite places in Barcelona:
Bogatell beach (Vai Moana the beach bar is amazing in summer) and watching the city lights come on from the hilltop bunkers - magical.

I enjoy to be out-and-about embracing the atmosphere and customs. One of the best parts of my stay here is to walk around and discover new places. After I leave, the next stop on my list is Guatemala, publish more books, and to finish my apprenticeship for becoming a licensed optician.

Once I do leave Barcelona, I will miss my favorite place that has the best pizza: La Pizza de Borne.

I’ve been here for two weeks and think that the whole life is not enough to know in details every corner of this city. I studied Spanish and in the breaks I tried to get to know the city, thanks to Camino’s activities it’s much easier and more interesting! When you’re hearing the stories about your favourite city in Spanish, it’s an unforgettable experience! You meet people from all over the world who speak English and study Spanish so this language is really the best for communication.
Favorite places in Barcelona:
The Sagrada Familia is the heart of Barcelona! I will never get tired of looking at each detail of this temple. The Carmel Bunkers - the place with the best panoramic view! You can see the best sunsets in your life there! Barceloneta - it’s a place where you can relax any time you want! The sea gives me a lot of energy and I enjoy observing how people are having a good time there - they play volleyball or go running, swimming or just lying on the beach!

After being in Barcelona for 1 month I decided to join Camino Barcelona and since then it’s been incredible! Not only have I improved my Spanish in the past 2 months, but I’ve also participated in many tours around and out of Barcelona and I’ve met so many great people at the school with whom I spend a lot of time with. They have become my family and Camino Barcelona my home.
Favorite places in Barcelona:
There are so many beautiful places that I like here but my number one visit were the Bunkers. Witnessing a sunset with a 360 view over Barcelona is an unforgettable experience.

Camino not only offers the opportunity to learn Spanish but also offers daily activities such as wine tasting, walking tours, trips around the city and paella cooking classes! For me, the community is the most special part of Camino – from the teachers, to the students, to the social media team and everyone who works every day behind-the-scenes to make sure everyone has an amazing experience at Camino.
I’ve documented my entire stay at Camino through daily vlogs on my YouTube channel! I show you what the on-site accommodation is like, what classes at Camino are like and take you along to some of Camino’s daily activities. If you’re interested in coming to Camino, first of all – great decision! Secondly, you can use my discount link for 20% off all the courses here at Camino. So, what are you waiting for? Go and book your trip to Barcelona and sign up to Spanish classes at Camino!

Lessons are super interactive. A lot of team and pair work which makes the lessons student centred. Teachers guiding and helping students instead of lecturing them.
Favorite places in Barcelona:
My favorite place is Barceloneta.

Spending three weeks at Camino Barcelona was without a doubt one of the greatest experiences of our lives. All the teachers were really young, full of energy and love for their job and made the lesson so interesting and entertaining. They helped us to improve our Spanish a lot. The activities of Camino helped us to discover parts of the town that we maybe wouldn't have seen otherwise. We made a lot of new friends here at Camino and learned many things about the culture and civilazion of their countries. We're going to miss everyone and definitely come back one day. ¡Hasta pronto!

Had a great time. All staff were friendly and assisted when I wanted to change level. Excellent teachers who helped develop confidence, particularly in speaking. After school activities were varied and fun. Great way to meet people and explore the city. I hope to come back for longer in the future!"

"I really enjoyed my experience here at Camino. Every teacher was very good and I plan on returning. I very much want to improve my Spanish and I think this school is an excellent pace for me to do that. There is a community spirit among students, teachers and administrators that is possibly my top take away from this 4 week experience. I have exchanged contact info with at least 10 other students and I am super motivated to continue my Spanish language studies. Thank you!"
