Camino Barcelona was founded in 2006 and is now one of the largest Spanish language schools in the heart of Barcelona, with over 30 spacious classrooms and many self-study areas in a modern and beautiful building. All of our classrooms are large, full of light, well-equipped, and air-conditioned.
As an expert in Spanish teaching, Camino has been awarded the highest level of Cervantes accreditation and serves as one of the largest examination centers in Spain for official Spanish language and cultural exams, DELE and CCSE.

We offer 7 cultural activities per week, always with a Spanish teacher, where you can meet students from different countries and practice your Spanish. Additionally, you can join our Afternoon Club every day from 16:30 to 17:30 in the school facilities, where you can ask a teacher a question or get extra practice in the area you need - listening, reading, writing, speaking, or homework help. We also have three buildings with apartments for our students, all just 2-6 minutes' walk from the school.

We work only with highly motivated and experienced native Spanish teachers who possess a university degree plus an ELE Teacher Certificate (teacher of Spanish as a foreign language). All our teachers undergo an extensive trial and training process within our company. The majority of our teachers have years of experience and are also certified by Cervantes institute as DELE teachers and can provide the top-level preparation for the DELE exam - the most prestigious and internationally recognised Spanish language diploma.

Immersive cultural activities program

Afternoon club
Strengthen your Spanish skills in any area with our free Afternoon Club, available Monday to Friday from 16:30 to 17:30.
Receive up to 5 hours/week of extra practice with a teacher assisting you in person in whatever area you want to focus on – grammar, speaking, listening, reading, writing, homework assistance, exam preparation, etc.
Access to many extra materials to help you learn the language: Spanish CD films, newspapers, reading books or Internet learning activities.

Camino offers the biggest choice of shared students apartments and is the only school in Barcelona that offers on-site accommodation Camino Campus.
Our Camino Campus is located just about 150 meters from the school and has 12 well-equipped flats and extensive terraces on the rooftop with sun beds.
Each apartment of our Camino Campus is air-conditioned, newly refurbished, and has all the necessary equipment in every room and in the common area for a comfortable stay, including fully-equipped kitchens, living rooms with TV relaxation areas, modern cooking facilities, and weekly cleaning with provided towels and bedding.
For those preferring off-site living, our Standard Shared Apartments are a popular choice, offering high level of living standards, full and modern equipment of the rooms, the kitchen and common areas, and many of the apartments have access to extensive terraces.
We also collaborate with more than 40 Spanish families, to ensure that the students have all their needs met and they will be living with nice, educated and helping local people, most within a 2-20 minute walking distance from the school.
I am from the United States. I am currently taking the Intensive course in Camino Barcelona that includes the main course, the conversation classes and the private tutoring. I chose Camino Barcelona because I love the culture here. Spanish culture is so accepting, so kind and it’s always such a fun time.
